This is it Baypark Family Speedway's last meeting of the year, Harry Fredrickson Memorial Gold Cup and Fireworks meeting, also running Sprint cars, Super Saloons, Saloons and Mini stocks. For Stockcars this is our Big Deal at home, and being the biggest track around we have been given the green light to run a max of 50 cars, 50 cars on track at once will be a hell of a spectacle. We had 38 last year and had an absolute blast but would certainly like to eclipse that this time. If your entering we need to know by Thursday as there's likely to be a small token gesture for entrants, so either PM me Tim Sidwell or Michael Stock via Facebook, or text me on 027 256 4250. Ill update the entrant list as we go but here's what we've got so far. 7m Denis Sefton 88m Ryan Decke 27r Craig Millar 18m Joe Carter 72m Hamish Curd 25m Karl Daniel 85m Dan Pollock 97m Stacy Keach 24m Ian Daniel 35m Eban Young 66m Daniel Hepworth 46h Barry Rhodes 51m Stewart Turnbull 44m Mack Ramanui 24r Shane Newlands 223m Ratea Robinson 81m Michael Stock 10r James Thompson 147m Matt Neilson 86R Michael Keijzer 12r Beau Thompson 84m Luke Alderdice 8R Scott Fredrickson 96m Anthony Jull 48m Lee Porter 188r Tony Gallacher 86m Trevor Porter 78m Tim Sidwell 91r Tony Coxhead 79m Matt Jarvis 29m Ryan Hunt 98h Rhys Beaumont 7h Dave Moore 94m Caitlin Hayward 82r Darcy Meurant 69m Karl Warner 16h Malcolm Read 38m James Hamilton 22h Les Hepworth 95m Shane Morgan 41m John Porter

I have just been told that this meeting also hosts the Super Saloon Bay Champs. This is mentioned on FB. But nothing mentioned in the add at the beginning of this thread. So do we have this event or don't we? As people have asked for an entry list and nothing has come forth one can only presume there are no entrants apart from some stockcars.

Sorry I'm just doing the stockcar's so I don't have the other classes covered, and as for low crowd attendance, last weekend we had 6,500 people for our meeting, that would be considered a monster crowd for most tracks in the country.

Its a DIY figure it out entry list for other classes. Good on Tim for doing the promotion for Stockies. No promotion of the final round of the Springs/Baypark Champ of Champs Sprintcar series for open wheel fans.
Guessing 8 - 10 Supers, Sprintcar field should be pretty good, Brindle has a decent lead in points chase but 2nd - 6th is seperated by only a couple of places in the feature and a Brindle DNF or finish outside the points will open door for 2nd - 5th to win series if they win the feature. Would expect decent field around 14 cars. Its also fireworks so will have a good crowd.
Sprintcar points. Brindle, Eggleton and Brocas still to drop their worst round. Not all drivers listed have done all rounds. Would be very surprised if the points gets mentioned on the mic at any point.
154 2NZ Dean Brindle 138 78A Daniel Eggleton 124 6M James Dahm 120 88M Keaton Dahm 119 55A Daniel Thomas 112 21A Kerry Brocas 110 51M Rodney Wood 95 71A Jamie McDonald
Boy oh boy that took about 15min to put together, not that difficult.

For ratattack27m-28m and stdstock .I would not bother travelling to Waikaraka park to watch stock cars trying to race so why would I bother travelling all the way down there to watch on a track each time I have been this year is either a tar seal track or a track for bmx racing Thanks for the info timsiding do not expect you to have all the entries probably up to the promotion to do that ,.

Weather looking fine for Saturday. Fingers crossed Bernie has managed to somehow prepare a track despite the best efforts of Baypark Venues Ltd (flooded track) to undermine him and our sport!
