Jayden wins from Jason Long and Peter Rees. The Rees boys played rough and tough and made the race good to watch.
Two roll overs 87b being 1, sort of looked like it was an infield job by 25b. Probably started on the track though.

Probably started on the track though. started when 87b took 25b to the wall. rode over the 25b bonnet. and was parked there until 25b managed to roll him. by that time they were on the infield. i dont have a problem with that. felt the call was a little harsh. as 25b didnt know he was off the track as there is a car on top of his all he wanted was to roll his attacker.

when sore the format i was worried. but lucky not that many cars turned up. 31. was so worried people like 84b and 25b who aint in the quickest cars but will mix it up would miss out on the final. it worked for that many. i hope when coming up with these formats they take in to account the stirers as well.

Jayden wins from Jason Long and Peter Rees. The Rees boys played rough and tough and made the race good to watch. Two roll overs 87b being 1, sort of looked like it was an infield job by 25b. Probably started on the track though. The first 'fall over' was 11b Matt Titter and then 87b's attempted hit on 25b turned against him and he fell over too - 25b probably should have backed off when they got to the infield, which is why he too got a red card. As for the Rees boys yes they played rough, although I don't think all in good spirit. Has the straight line rule been squashed? or is Asher just doing his own thing? If the rule still exists, then he did two questionable hits in the final - the first on 14b in which he came from a fair distance back to wind Dave in - it happened right in front of me and I can tell you Asher wasn't turning left. On the bright side, karma bit Asher as 14b bounced up doing bonnet and front wheel damage to 126g. Then 5 laps later 126g went straight in on 86b in front of the announcers box. Admittedly 126g was not at maximum pace as he had right front damage, but he wasn't mucking around either. The first hit is at 6:08 and the second at 12:45 - this hit is missed by the camerman, but the tyre marks say 'straightline'. Don't get me wrong, 126g entertained us all in the crowd and his block on 52p handed the lead back to 971p - Jayden wasn't going to catch him otherwise. A mention must also go to 84b who made a short but valuable impact on the evening having a crack at 127g in the early laps of the final - it meant that he was out of the running and into block mode. I wish someone would buy 84b a proper tank. It was a blimmin good night overall - Super Saloons were great and the other classes pretty good too. Track looked great from the stands so full credit to all involved - Thank you to all visiting drivers who made this meeting so enjoyable.

Awesome thanks for th footage.
Superstocks racing hard and fast and using the bumpers outside of teams racing - epic.
I really feel like we're in a golden period of superstock racing.
The shift of loyalties really is spicing things up. Going to be interesting seeing how people respond next year after an off season to think about.
And how awesome is it too see how strong Hb superstocks are? I think it's awesome.
And I second a consortium getting behind mike Mac for a tank. I actually thought the deal dos the 74g tank had been done, must have taken over?

You would have to say that Meeanee has become the second best run track in NZ after Palmy . Well run meetings , plenty of cars in classes etc. Their superstock ranks are building with some fairly competitive machinery . Top results as well in the supers with Teams title , and 2 NZ .Gonna be a force next season..
