some missed out knowing the track frequency at BayPark last night.
While tracks could do better at advertising these, why moan when there is something we can do to get the info to macgorians
Western Springs 106.7 Waikaraka Park 107.5 (text the commentator on 02102367744) Huntly 88.3 Kihikihi (no permanent system - borrowed Huntly's for NZ Stocks) BayPark 88.1 Rotorua 88.3 Meeanee 107 (Text commentator on 02102717438) Palmy North. 88.0 Oceanview will have the Elite Mechanical NZ Superstocks commentary on 107.7FM (Jan 2020) Wellington (Te Marua) 88.1
Nelson 88.2 Woodford Glen 88.1 Ruapuna 107.5
others tracks? (I'll edit this post with other added frequencies so they are all at the top for those wanting them)

Speaking of commentators ... a few bemoan the fact that getting information for them is not an easy task. Spectators value timely and factual information, an issue in regards a car, why a non appearance, general driver feedback, etc. A simple option is for commentators to ensure the driver and crew have a text / have a 'get a message option' to the commentator. Perhaps include on entry forms, in programs, share at driver's briefing? Also, don't assume all spectators know and understand all classes, warts and all. If as a commentator you are not reliably informed, educated in regards a specific class, get someone in your box to bounce info off that is accurate. Commentators, get yourselves a couple of feedback spectators in regards volume and clarity around the track.

Agree with Mr Guy. A commentator should know their crowd tho. For the most part with a big crowd at a Demolition Derby or fireworks meeting that might have a local class champs running at it, your audience is going to be nowhere near as informed and knowledgeable as they will be at a major nz champs. So covering off things like why some classes have red lights for crashes where others go yellow. Why Joe blow was allowed to restart when Billy bunter 3 races ago wasn't is more important on the Demolition Derby night than the who came 13th in heat 2 of the local class champs. Get to the Nz's tho and the more knowledgeable crowd wanna know who came 13th in heat 2, cause they generally "get it" that 13th place could have implications for the title. And more on topic, FM transmitters are a must have, particularly if you have more than 1 mic man and they could be more than 10 metres away from each other

Some basic searches of my own to find out a few frequencies on track websites has revealed nothing - that is very sad. so easy to do too. I can imagine that most Western Springs people would be on the open wheel board. do they? if so can someone share? kihikihi? stratford? Palmy? Gissy? Whanganui? Rosebank? any of the south Island tracks? any of the non-SNZ tracks?

that's great. I got a little discouraged in my search after looking at 3 of the north Island ones. Should have figured mainlanders are a bit more on to it.

Is it too soon to call after 7 tracks? if you're not sure of the frequency try around 88 or 107 on your FM dial

Western Springs is 106.7, They say Raceway FM. Has been good after the first meeting, If Jason Gutteridge (The Pits Radio ) is using his FM Transceiver, this is on 107.5Mhz, last time I was in the South Island.

It's a shame that all tracks that run FM permanently (which really should be everybody in this day and age) don't sign write it on the front of the commentary box like Western Springs has done. Everybody doesn't buy programmes or search websites for hidden information (note Woodford Glen), and even when it's announced before meetings only those that are already listening to FM sometime hear it if it's done at a time with cars already on track.
