Tigers will be there. No need to worry Are you 100% on that? I hope so but if Auckland feild a team too we get back to that crap 13 team format. How does a 13 team format work?

Yes i agree i like 12 teams so ya can do a multi at the tab Yes, 13 teams isn't good. 11 is even worse obviously, as you don't have groups AND you get less races on the first night, but I think you need to look at it this way. If you leave one of the 13 teams out on a year you can get 13 teams, just to keep it at the prefered number of 12, interest in that area could wane (it will obviously be a small team that gets dropped) and/or their drivers contract to other tracks so they can get into a team that's in the Teams Champs, and the following year when you only get 11 entries, that region you dropped the year before no longer has a team available and you can't get back up to 12 again. I think it's preferable to have 13 on the years 13 teams want to enter, so as to maintain the interest in all of those regions. It's not like Bruce has 24 tracks to choose his 12 teams from each season. Barry B

12 allows Group winners to progress. Often they have won 2 races or if there is teams who have won 1 and lost 1 in a group the team with the closer loss will progress. Fair for all.
13 teams and its all on points. A team who wins 2 races can miss, even though they have gone through night 1 unbeaten. A team who wins and gets lots of points and loses their other race can get through ahead of a team who wins both races.
I think and bloody hope it will be 12 teams. 4 groups. Seeded teams into separate groups and the other 8 randomly drawn into groups.

People shove the 13. When they ran the 13. The top 6 teams finished in the 1st 6. The correct team won. The hawke eyes were a victim of the seedings. So it all was fair. On paper the hawke eyes were not a very good team enither. So i dont have any complaints. And the tigers couldnt put away a three car hawke eye team so it is fair as it could be. Now the seeding. How they work is unfair.

The top four teams from last year aint the top 4 teams going into this team champs. Gissy panthers and mustangs can all be in same group. They shouldnt be meeting until night two. My point the teams change in a year. Thats why you usually get the better races in qualfing at any teams event bar stockcar nats in 2013.

Says who? Remind me, who was 1, 2, 3, 4 last year? Barry B Hawkeyes 1, Lions 2, Giants 3, Wildcats 4 He obviously rates Gissy, Panthers and Mustangs 1, 2, 3 by his reckoning, so feels that even though 2 of the 3 failed last year they should still be seeded on top. Hornet logic *shakes head* There are no official National Team Rankings, so there's no other way of seeding teams other than rewarding them for their efforts at the previous season's event. Otherwise the whole thing is just open accusations of rigged draws. Over to you busterbell. Barry B

It ain't rocket science. The system is designed to keep other teams that don't make the semi finals interested and give them something to aim for.
