The following are not eligible as they were the initial inductees last season Shane Penn Eddie Hawkins Brendon Higgins Barry Podjursky Dave Evans Tony McLanachan
Give me time and I might be able to come up with a suitable candidate - there are certainly plenty of candidates but whether they justify inclusion given the very high level set by those listed above still needs to be weighed up before forwarding my nomination/s.

A year on from their respective retirements from Teams Racing, might Kerry Podjursky and Scott Miers be considered?

Gary Parkes obvious Malcolm Bear ( waikato wanderers captain, part of the team that ended panthers streak, two time winner)
Clark Proctor (big hitter part of baypark busters ) Steve Burley ( 2 times winner , one the few who could block and run well and was a nuisance for the general) Ian King ( one of the best blockers along with Ron Butcher)

Personally I don't think drivers should be added to this until they have completely stopped driving but that's my opinion
Going to say Ian King because he had a rule made against him and Darren Gray for his years of service with the wildcats

I think to be eligible you have to have been retired for at least 2 years. I'll go Clark Procter , legend in the busters era Pat Westbury , One of the best block men ever to race stockcars

Barry Hunter - To me a talented driver who who was a hard hitter when he needed to be but a smooth fast peddler when the need arose
Evan Mooney - Absolute legend who took no prisoners when needed
Neville Stanaway- Another who could either block or run. Put his car on the line when needed and was a real team man
Kevin Free (I assume Kev has finally retired) A true legend who unfortunately suffered (in later years) from a lack of funds but good enough to be an automatic selection in any team
While we on the teams racing theme, in my opinion the best teams race I saw was at Waikaraka Park, Rebels v Bay Park Dream team. No Cars finished and from memory, I think there was some sort of run off to determine the winner I think Rotorua Team was Neville Stanaway, Lyall Rumney, Rex Neild, Murray Hobbs Reserve Frank Miller, Baypark was Dutchy, Craig Pierce, Clark Proctor, Curly Carlyle and I think the other was one of the Taylors

Barry Hunter-a legend in the teams racing format. Known to be a hard hitter.
Malcolm Bear-was able to run or block and could read a race really well. Lead the wanderers to their only two teams championships.
