Hawkeyes were 2nd but take the win. 591p passed on grass Hawkeyes through to semi finals Very poor refreeing by anyones standard .. I hope you have a good nights sleep Charles ,as Your Lord and master Mr Macgor has spoken on this subject already this evening the head Ref Rod Mcnaughton resides in your home town ,and more than likely your favourite club :)But you are entitled to your opinion ,so just snore gently not waking the dead up .. Good evening ..

Jack Mires was pushed over the pole line by a Nelson car he continued racing and came out on track in front and won the race, why was he not relegated? Palmy Ref's at it again. Why cant they be consistent? You must remember this is the promoters big money event so its all about the panthers and mustangs, so anything robertson can do to make sure they are in the final he sure as hell will do it. hense why no penalty to the panthers What a crock of shyte, it doesn't matter who is in the final, the place will be a sell out no matter what because of all of the supporters of all the guys in all the teams who put their body and cars on the line in all the races, not just the Panthers and Mustangs. Pull ya head in.

Does anyone know the actual points given for the final race. I second that motion - who has what points so we know who is up against who in the semi's?

What's happened post race in the Mustangs vs Hawkeyes race? 591p relegated (for passing over pole line?) It actually probably got a better result anyway as they (mustangs) still get through but don't face the panthers. Now hawkesbays have to face them/us instead of wellington. I would of left it as a mustang vs panther semi and let them wipe each other out. By protesting hawkesbay now have the semi with the panthers.

It's a terrible outcome for mustangs, now they have no chance of winning the championship, where as the Hawkeyes still got a chance. Best the mustangs can get now is 3rd, that's if they win every race tommorow and win comfortably.

Pull ya head in. Tell us what you REALLY think Pete 😎 But you're dead right. Team's Champs is what it is because the Palmy promotion has invested a huge amount of time, effort and cash to make it the one event each season we all want to watch. Sure, there were some controversial calls last night, but that's part of the event. The referees are human, and each only has two eyes and can only see what they see. I've spent enough time with SNZ people in the last couple of years to know that the love Speedway as much as we do, and the notion that they could be bought off is frankly insulting. Kudos to every driver who fronted last night. There'll be some sore boys this morning, but they'll all be back tonight to do it again. And the Panthers are in the semis because they deserve to be; Peter Bengston was in full beast mode against the Wildcats. Even when he was leading, he was absolutely smashing into any car that was waiting for him. Personally, I'd love to see a Panthers vs Giants final just to see Bengston go bumper to bumper with Peter Rees. If that prospect doesn't get you excited, you'd better check your pulse

Must admit to being a bit confused with regards what is happening, instead of a run off did they have a coin toss or did a team concede? or something else? Guess it will all come out in the wash and meanwhile we have some epic battles to look forward to tonight.

Good on the Hawkeyes for lodging a protest and getting through. You have to question how a refree can make that many mistakes ..

Bugger. Went to bed a happy chappie with the p teams thru and get up to a bit of a kick in the shins. So where are all the "Bruce has got the refs in his pocket" campaigners now ? The reality is if it were true none of the teams would bother fronting and the event would die which is exactly the opposite to what was experienced last night. Fantastic night and looking forward to some brutal contests tonight.
