No wildcard for Niels Kristian-Iversen?
Anyone know if he was keen to ride SGP in 2018?

Highly unlikely your see kiwi in the sgp for many years. still great series to watch since 1995 where one off world championship. replaced with current format.. still one the best series around any speedway with way it's done so exciting, not be missed for any speedway enthusiasts

Unfortunately BWD struggled for the most part in Britain this year, and he's far and away the best we've got. Had a couple of real cracking meetings, but also was down in the dumps to the point of almost quitting at one stage. So a fair ways off of SGP standard as yet....hope he gets another chance at it, still a talent. Look at Doyle,.. been around for years....and if anyone had said 3 or 4 years ago he'd become World Champ, the men in white coats wouldn't be too far away. I think Holder is lucky to be included, probably can thank Monster boss Joe Parsons for that. Hopefully he gets back to form next year. NKI reportedly spitting tacks on facebook about being overlooked, but to be fair, his form had dropped alot before his season was cut short, so 1st reserve is probably about right. Seems like a fair bit of politicing goes on behing the scenes, putting bums on seats at certain GPs etc, and there's also the odd rider(s), (Euro winner Lebedevs for one) who for whatever reasons don't want to ride in the GP's.
