I don't think so sorry if Wanganui had no team as he raced for tigers last season

Panthers likely to be Bengston Miers Humphries Dare Hemi. Hemi gets a free pass with the both or nothing contract. 3x Joblins to be in Mustangs Beachboy called it and nearly got the Joblin call right also. Not bad for someone that doesn't know the class Yes but easier to write than Shortland street that one. Could be some Tonka toy throwing come night 2.

Must say the Panthers look the weakest they've been in about the last 6 years and the Mustangs the strongest in the same amount of time Panthers weak??? I don't think so... not with having the very experienced Peter Bengston, 1NZ William Humphries can seek and destroy hard or run, the experienced 3NZ Jordan Dare has also been 2NZ twice before, Jack Miers lasks no experience can run and smash hard, and Wayne Hemi is a former 1NZ and won 2NZ twice, and was part of the famous Panthers team that won four Palmy and Auckland titles back to back, and he won the Manawatu Champs this season against a strong field coming from 18th to first in one race. All cars will be prepared to a very high standard. The Panthers certainly don't look "the weakest they've been for the last 6 years" to me. The Mustangs team of the experienced Scott Joblin who has been posting some of the fasted times at Palmy this year, along 2NZ Adam Joblin and the father & son duo of 75p Chev Taniwha and 175p Gavin Taniwha who is arguably one of the best blockers in the country, and the super reliable 71p Shane Mellsop look like a pretty good team to me too. Just my 2 thrupence worth,

Just my 2 thrupence worth, I guess Go Slideways if you only want to quote a portion of what I wrote and base your response on that fair enough. But the inclusion of Hemi, in my opinion, which is my opinion, definitely weakens the Panthers. Nothing wrong, for sure, with the other 4 members they all deserve inclusion and on their own are a formidable team, but the 5th member it seems is only there on another drivers ticket. Why did the Panthers take 6 to Nelson, because it seems they were forced to under the same criteria which doesn't bode well for a teams event when an individual in the 'team' seems to call the shots on what he wants. Yes Hemi was part of a great Panthers team with Bengston, Miers, Rees and Penn but he was definitely the 5th ranked driver who was more often than not sat out when the main races were on the line, then replaced by Scott Joblin and not needed since by the Panthers. Time moves on and there's no denying the Panthers could easily win the teams champs with the talented team they have, but it does seem as though the team is being forced into some decisions which isn't the usual Palmerston North way.

Cant see a problem with Hemi in the Panthers so long as he is a runner . The Red Waka has some serious horsepower and he knows how to pedal it . This weekends display by him and Dare was enough proof .

Outstanding effort by the Tigers! Interesting that every team/squad named so far has been made up entirely of locally registered Superstocks. I wonder when the last time there was a teams champs without a single ring in or Stockcar being used?* * No shade to those who have used either in the past, ya gotta do what ya gotta do to keep a team going

Nelson Tigers 2018 Team 10N Alex Bright 95N Alex Hill 84N Anthony McKenzie 85N Dale McKenzie 99N Trevor Lineham The youth in this team is exciting. The longer they stay together the better. Well ones a slightly older statesman I guess but the first four are early twenties. Remember Stanaway was also just before these guys in mini stocks at Nelson too and if only he had stayed. If this team can be funded enough and stay together they’ll rival the Panthers of the late nineties in the coming years.

After watching the Supers at Stratford last night Phil Ogle has to be included. Come on Phil give it another go. Phil is one of those guys I feel wolnt teams race unless they are a chance. Still away to go. But with the likes of 26S things are looking up for scrapper land. Just a couple more drivers of mitchs taren't he may be back into palmy teams. My thoughts another is 19c with same attitude.

So now what no auckland means wanders in. Wanguni out. Or auckland in and wanders out or teams racevent between wanguni and waikato winner go to palmy for auckland. How's this play out.

Remember they can do a 13 team draw. I like we for it’s simplicity and clarity when it comes to outcomes but 13 if 13 are available is fine.
