A bit of a more light hearted topic.
Making a playlist of songs for the roadtrip down to palmy with the boys. Was wondering what songs you listen to and they just scream speedway? A few come to mind for me.
Black betty - Spider Bait Are you ready? - ACDC Hit me with your best shot - Pat Benatar Eye of the tiger - Survivor
What are your favorites?
10 days to go and counting

Rammers will be singing ABBA's SOS well before Saturday night qualifying ends I suspect. Barry B Now that you mention it... NO I WON'T. However, with Wellington expected to open up as the almost unbackable favourite the only way any team can beat them is to break the law. (may also just be a gratuitous excuse to share a great song) I'm sure even Go Slideways will be humming along

Far out, that is so cool to see the old stuff we made. Grant the presenter, was a cameraman that turned to do some presenting. Not sure where he is these days. Must show Brownie, he loved the stockies. Who's got a copy of the Caravan Demo derby item we did at Waikaraka Park - anyone? My favourite job, cutting motorsport to good music, but always with the sound FX in too. If only we had GoPros in those days. Two Tribes - Frankie Goes To Hollywood Awesome backing song to this video from 1995.

Stratford had a song way back that used to get blasted out every meeting. “Stockcar racing is magic”. Don’t know who recorded it or if there is still a copy of it - roger Tonkin would know!
