The one in 2008 was the 7th running of the event and looks like that was the last one,a bit of a shame the midgets don't run there anymore probably because they didn't get the crowds and it is sprintcar territory, interesting Michael Pickens has raced on the famed Knoxville raceway and got a good 4th among top company as well in 2008. Thanks i was unaware that midgets ran knoxville nationals for about 7 years. with MP geting top 4 that was one race i had forgot about.. shame the don't still race there, makes sense if crowd numbers were down |

Well done to Brad Sweet winning his 5th woo feature of the year at Black Hills Speedway,mr Schatz was 2nd and speedy recovery to Spencer Bayston who broke his leg yesterday racing his sprintcar at Grandview Speedway racing with the allstars.

spencer has been driving for kevin swindell this season in the all star promotion, word from kevin this morning that it was not a mechanical breakage that caused the injury, rather a huge chunk of the track that broke up and came into the car breaking his leg.
spencer has undergone surgery and all indications are for a successful recovery.
Meanwhile word is that Christopher Bell may step in and help long time friend kevin swindell and pilot the #39 car, not a bad replacement.

Well done to Daryn Pittman winning his 6th woo feature of the year at Big Sky Speedway today and a good win to Carson Macedo winning the Allstar feature at Lincoln Speedway as well,Kyle Larson was 2nd.

Former sprintcar and indy car driver Sarah Fisher is the first person to throw a midget around the new dirt track at the Indianapolis motor speedway,there are 118 midgets entered for the 39Bryan Clauson event next week,there will be some awesome midget racing next Wednesday and Thursday at Indy.

Donny Schatz just won woo feature no19 at Willamette speedway with David Gravel getting another 3rd.39 Zeb Wise won the night one feature at the Indy dirt track for usac midgets as well.

Congrats Brady Bacon winning inagural Bc 39 lapper indianapolis.. what terrific race with Chad boat and kevin Thomas jnr finishing in that order respectively. hard charge award Christopher Bell 17th to 5th.

Btw whats happened with Rico Abreu don't see him racing too many Usac events. except pops up in more world of outlaw events. not very seldom in some bigger Midget races.
