We now have a 14 car field with the addition of 17H................but not with it's regular pilot.
If you take the "1" out of the number and replace it with a "7" and change the "H" to an "A", you should be able to figure out who will be doing the steering

Even more nostalgia, rumour has it that Lyndon Kendall will be turning the spanners for him.

Great publicity for the class, I wonder if he might be tempted to also make an appearance for King of the Park? A few years ago he was going to run the Ward machine over Teams Nats weekend but couldn't due to mechanical issues, so it's nice that he is getting a second chance.
In saying that I also hope Andrew Ross gets some solid seat time in the Modified soon, he was always fun to watch in the Saloon and pretty quick.

Exciting times with 2 team cars from Red Cat Racing.............. I'm afraid not, bad luck continues to plague the team. The motor on the #63 car has broken a rocker and bent a valve so unfortunately it won't be making its' debut tonight

Take a 'Bow' Mr Crumpe. Your performance in the shootout was bloody awesome. You had me on the edge of my seat for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend of racing but your shootout was a real highlight.
Congratulations to Foxy for winning the Auckland Champs. He really is smooth.......just a master practitioner. Brad Lane for second spot, he is a bloody little Bulldog that boy, never gives an inch and congrats to Gary Parker for third. Anyone who hasn't had a close look at Gary's car should make a point of doing so. That 21h machine is immaculate and should be displayed at hot rod shows. I haven't watched any mod racing live for a long time so it was great to see these youngsters out there doin it. Jordan Hunter was peddling hard and Luke Brown in his immaculate machine putting in some quick laps albeit car issues buggered his night.
Great weekend of racing. Money well spent.

Yep a couple of times there I thought young Bradly was going to get Foxy but Foxy just kept is cool like the champ he is and stayed ahead, mods should be really good next season with the nz champs at Waikaraka and the dirt cup will be worth going to as well.

Brad has been nibbling away at us all year so nothing new there! Actually driver felt pretty relaxed about things on Sunday night, thought the car was good and we had it under control most of the time. Like the Dirt Cup the back-markers had the risk of stuffing us up and always harder being the first guy into traffic but Foxy managed it pretty good and always thought he had a bit left if needed in reserve. Luckily this time we were able to make the passes when needed and control the pace to the finish. Most relaxed I have seen the team for sometime on a slick track. Car was good all night.

Yep Foxy was smooth and composed. He certainly never looked rattled at any stage and Brad was giving it everything. It was bit of Master and the Pupil. I thought Foxy was well in control when they hit traffic and he did it all cleanly. The mods were great to watch and it was a treat to have both Phil Game and Newton Gorge on track. There was plenty of 'Old Blood' out there for sure.

There was plenty of 'Old Blood' out there for sure. One driver over 70, another over 60 and four more over 50; yep, plenty of Old Blood. And amongst that lot I'm guessing there's something like 130 years of racing experience On the up side there were four U/25's and there should have been a 5th, so there's also some Young Blood around too.
