This weekend’s Speedway Meeting – Saturday 28th April programme will be the same as last weekend’s 21st April programme with the following classes running; Season Grand Finale Lucas Oil SuperStock Shoot Out Series Finale AFC Motorcycles Sidecar Best Pairs Stockcars Minisprints Manawatu Adult Ministock Champs Youth Ministocks Double Decker Derby Race Fireworks

They should have raced yesterday afternoon, finishing around the time that darkness fell so they could have the fireworks. Judging by the weather forecast for pretty much the whole country for this weekend, there's not going to be much speedway, and I see Baypark postponed its scheduled meeting for this Saturday on Tuesday.

Yes, the weather is a bit dodgey at the moment but the Metservice rain radar forecast for 6pm Saturday shows rain missing Palmerston North. Maybe ok.  Justin Cunninghame's car is all set for Petrol to begin his Superstock racing on Saturday night.  |

If Saturday is Canned then it will be moved to the 5th May...
And dont forget the Manawatu Speedway are holding their club day at Harrisville on Sunday the 6th
