The food at Waikaraka is actually quite nice and prices are no different to your local fish and chip shop. Western springs food is yuck and twice the price of Waikaraka go figure. Nah waikaraka is terrible compared to Springs. No variety either, aswell as quality. How can you say that? Hotdogs Chips American hotdogs Bacon and egg burger and a few other things at the caravan at the pit end of the back straight Donuts, coffee, slushies at the caravans by turn 2 Hoitdogs Chips Veggie Nachos Pulled Pork burger Chicken and Bacon Burger (pity they dropped the Beef Brisket with pinenuts burger) Under clubrooms... Next time Hemi you may actually want to come to the track before saying there is no range (or take a walk around)...oh and the prices are kept down by the club (part of the catering agreement.

In previous years I always bought food for my family with me that we bought on the way. Fish and chips Pizza etc. Since the new pricing structure why bother may as well buy it at the track. Also the ques are usually not too long.

It is understandable that the ques are very small, there is NO crowd as such to stand there and enjoy slushies slops and chips ..

And here we go again...Rather than promoting their own club (sorry promotion company) you resort to putting down others? Why not try and focus on the positives? Tell us about some of the good food - rather than just putting down everyone else. Dirt slinging matches are never going to be good for the sport as a whole.

On the food topic, the introduction of the BBQ stall (morepork BBQ) this season was awesome. Im right into american style BBQ so was actually a highlight for me each night. It wasnt cheap, for memory was about $14 for a burger but well worth every penny in my opinion.
