Good to see Luke Keegan claim his first Sprint car feature at Ruapuna tonight. All night Keegan drove deep into the turns putting passing manouvers on the opposition that really paid off.Severe North West winds played havoc with the track surface moisture but generally the racing in all classes was good. The high number of competitors turning up to race for opening night was very pleasing.

Where has Shane Clark come from?
Not a driver I'm familiar with but he must be going well to beat Tom Lumsden.

Thanks Percy for the acknowledgement of both Tom and Shane. Shane drove a good clean race and deserved the win and Toms engine isn't behaving itself just yet.
