Remember Cromwell's track shape does take a bit of getting use to.Certainly 8usa would be a top three pick wouldn't rule out Rodney Wood (collected two titles here in the past) Jamie Duff has good speed here.

Whats is the qualifying heats. are they split into groups or Here is the format off the entry form, (a very fair format with plenty of racing for the fans) Format Qualifying Rule M4-25 All competitors will be split into 6 groups (dependent on numbers) which will be seeded and all grids done for all competitors. This is determined by Central Motor Speedway. Each group will race each other once over two nights β three heats on night one and two heats on night two. The top 16 points scorers after all 5 heats have been completed will qualify directly to a winner takes all final race. The competitor highest on points will have the choice of grid 1 or 2 for the final with the second highest points scorer starting from the leftover grid. Competitors positioned 3rd -16th on points will fill grids 3 β 16 for the final. All the above heat races will be 10 laps. Any competitors equal on points after qualifying heats, their position will be determined by the fastest lap recorded during the heats. All remaining competitors will race in a last chance B Main race. The first two competitors to cross the finish line after a set number of laps (determined by the host track) will transfer to the winner takes all final race. These drivers will fill grids 17-18. So 15 qualiflying heats over the two nights to find the top 16 points scorers, rest to B Main to fine the final two to completed the 18 car field for the 25 lap A Main.

following on from the comments on page 1 of this thread. how many south island cars are coming north for the rolling thunder at palmy on the 16th and winged thunder at harrisville on the 17th was going to be at least one for Harrisville but destroyed car at GP. They are shut out of rolling thunder as that is pre entered and limited numbers.

I was sure you had to register and was limited to a certain number of cars per class and once that number was reached entries were closed.

Be cool if there was updates posted....was on my bucket list, but i kinda misplaced the bucket with all the cash in it lol. So...who we all picking for the title? Always a bit open with the sprintcar title i feel, who woulda picked KB last year,...but he did it, fair and square. I'll go for Mp, Kofoid and Larsen. Duff will mount a serious challenge, Rodney has good history at Cromwell, J-Mac will be tough as well...after that...dunno. Some of the young southerners could give it a shake perhaps...thinking Connor Rangi judging by recent results. A roughie for me is Matt Leversedge...a rocket ship car at times. Whoever wins, they'll have earned it. So that's mine Pickens Kofoid Larsen

A couple of changes to the format as voted by the drivers at the driver briefing: Qualflying heats now increased from 10 to 12 laps. The A Main will now have 20 cars (up from 18). The top sixteen points scorers progress after the heats with the remaining four coming from the B Main.

how come when 3 cars came together and stopped 2 restarted rof and Pickens restarted 2nd? I thought if you were involved in an incident and stopped you restarted rof. If they say only prime cause went rof why did both 27i and 91t go rof when it was 91t spinning that caused incident?
