Chassis wise it's still pretty much Maxim, J&J, Triple X as the main players. Lots of smaller companies too, but almost all are patterned after the Maxim K-Car that Karl Kinser came up with in 1990. The Brent Harris restored Kinser-Maxim that's often on display around the tracks here, is a dead ringer for that very car. Back in the day when the all alloy engines were first coming out, most of the parts were interchangeable with the smallblock Chev they were patterned after. Like Mod46c above says, there wouldn't be much that would fit now, even though they are still a Chev design...sort of. Heaps of different builders up there, quite often depends which part of the country you're in, and just about all will build a motor(s) to whatever specs you need.

So just out if interest, what sort of chassis does Donny run and the klr team? What's the main midget chassis? Spike?

Donny Schatz now showing form why he is current king of sprintcars. even after slow start the season, by his standards gradually increasing his points lead with consistency as opposed race wins.

So just out of interest, what sort of chassis does Donny run and the klr team? What's the main midget chassis? Spike? TSR run a variant of a J&J. KLR are in Eagles from the look of them. As for midgets most are built by Spike but they vary in numerous ways pursuant to who orders what.
