I stand to be corrected but can't you enter either of the island champs regardless of which island your home track is yeah? M4-8-2 Further criteria for North Island and South Island Championships: (a) A competitor can only enter one Island championship per season in any one class. (b) At the time of the event, the competitor must be contracted to a track in that Island.

Every day is a school day. Thanks graemehAnother interesting rule is: M4-10 Eligibility of Vehicles M4-10-1 A vehicle can only be entered into one New Zealand Championship and/or Grand Prix and/or Island Championship in any one season, unless the vehicle has been legitimately sold between Island Championships Which I guess means a car that raced in the South Island champs cant be driven in the North Island champs by a different driver unless it was sold. Would be interesting to see that situation put to the test.

I constantly wonder why many of these rules are in place. thought SNZ should be encouraging racing, not discouraging it.as a paying spectator I want to see as many competitors as possible come out the pit gates....

Why is Halcrow got P on his car really. He now lives about 20 minutes South of Palmerston North could be a good reason why.
