I take it Peter Dickson will be changing the letter 'e' for this title? Hope he puts a 'v' on it!! I suspect it'll be a double upside down V VV M Barry B

All the best to Nige and Fiona in their retirement from racing. Nige started in stockcars, then saloons and finally supersaloons. Nige has been a loyal Halcrow chassis user up until his present Harding Motorsport chassis. He is not afraid to look outside the square, current car Ford powered, carb and avgas fuelled, not chev, injected and methanol fuelled like the others. Thru out his racing career Fiona has been beside him at all the tracks they have raced on and always in the pits lending a hand. Nige and Fiona have been real true ambassador's to the speedway scene thru out his career, thanks. Car presentation has always been of the highest standard and this year you and the car have really gelled and always at the pointy end on the result sheets. Thanks for your contribution to the speedway scene , and look forward to catching up with you track side for a chat in the future.

5b Steve Flynn is in with a great chance tonight. He's been picked to win by my mate. 11e Peter Dickson will race as 11p 16r Mark Osborne is fast at Palmy Former national champions in the field include 5b Steve Flynn, 11e Peter Dickson, 16r Mark Osborne, 21w Donald Gregory and 23p Mick Quin, while 124m Dan Corrin and 24a Ben Harding are previous winners of this event. I like Burger King and McDonalds once in a while, but I like Dan Corrins live streams from his workshop more, so I pick 124m to win the North Island Super Saloon Champs. 2 heats to decide grid position for 30 lap final I'll post the 3 podium getters pics about midnight.

Thanks so much to everyone for the kind words...yep weve been around a while and thoroughly enjoyed every minute...especially meeting so many wonderful life long friends and supporters. But there does come a day when you need to reassess what you're doing and sadly to retire has been our decision. Unfortunately because our good friend and engine builder Ron Willoughby is no longer with us, this just cemented our decision to retire immediately. We always told Ron the day he stops looking after our engine is the day we stop racing๐ช.. Ron was a wealth of knowledge and kindness and will be sadly missed by us and all that knew him. We will definately be hanging around the tracks and nige will keep his racegear and seat , just in case he gets itchy feet(which I'm sure he will) Thanks again to everyone ..it means alot to us.
