From the reports of frenetic ticket sales on here and Facebook today the event must be under priced completely agree percy. but you cant do a huge price rise enither. next year every ticket will be 10 more. when will the pinch come. you want to stop before then.

Wow, as at 3.50pm theres only a scattering of 65 seats left in the grandstand for night one and about half the embankment has been sold, might pay to get in extra quick if you want to go to the greatest show on dirt.

You maybe able to keep increasing the price for the big meetings and still sell out but a lot of fans will stop going to club nights they would of religiously attended week in week out, so is it really that great for the promotion and/or the sport. The crowds for club nights at Palmy over the last few yrs have been declining as proof of this.

Perhaps the regular meetings are over-priced?

Perhaps the regular meetings are over-priced? Exactly!! I don't wanna get off topic, but about 20 years ago, maybe more. I was at a track and happened to be sitting next to Spike Richardson. who was also there watching. Just over halfway thru a meeting that was very average anyway but was dragging on with no sense of urgency by the track staff or promotion, I said to Spike something like "this is hopeless, If we as die hards are getting restless and impatient, how the hell do we expect families who go once or twice a year to come along more often?" He astounded me when he (who was still promoting PN at the time) said "It's your own fault for going to too many speedway meetings. It's like a tennis fan who goes to the Manawatu Tennis Champs and then complains it's not as good as the Wimbledon final that I went too last month" My answer to that was that I would pay 100's of pounds to go to the final of the major at the All England Club, I doubt I'd pay $2 to go to the Manawatau Champs. I use the same argument when a track expects me to pay $25 to sit thru 9 ministock races, at an otherwise average meeting, when a couple of weeks later I can pay $5 more to watch the international Sprintcars with a good support program, ashow that is prob worth $50. It's not the money, cause i'll pay 100's of dollars for something I want, but have learned not to pay $25 for something I don't. I still think, FWIW Superstock Teams is a special event that is prob only just now getting towards it's true value to me as a fan.

From the reports of frenetic ticket sales on here and Facebook today the event must be under priced If Speedway or Teams Racing is your thing then its very under priced. The teams/drivers put on 1 hell of a show for around 4hours per night for $80 vs an All Black test of 2hrs at $160 or a music concert anywhere from $100-$200/$300. It will be along time before its over priced or doesnt sell out.

It will be along time before its over priced or doesnt sell out. Thats because theres likey thousands times more people interested in rugby in this country than stockcar racing as proof of this when it comes to viewing on the box a live broadcast/stream of Teams is likely to be at least $100 for about 8hrs total, with Rugby you can get every top game in the world live for $41 for a whole month. Begs the question With the team's champs selling out each year wouldn't it be more beneficial to drop the stream price to get more viewers that way, a lot of people likely don't want to part with that sort of money when they know the stream could easily go bad or be rubbish with no refunds. Or is it even time for a sky pay per view of this event?

Got your Teams Champs tickets yet? You get a great seat and view anywhere at Robertson Holden International Speedway in Palmy, but just released is block J that - in my humble opinion - is one of the primo viewing spots of all. You're up high to see all the track, the sun is at your back and you get a good view of the big screen replays head on, plus turn 3 has provided some very big hits in the past. Get in quick, these ones will go fast - act now to avoid disappointment - like right now. "Central Energy Trust Arena 3 hrs · Still needing to secure your tickets for the 2020 ENZED Superstock Teams Champs? Block J Embankment seating is now available for purchase! Be sure to hurry - we only have a limited amount of these prime viewing seats 🏁 Get your tickets here👇" www.ticketdirect.co.nz/event/season/1705
