Rumour Osborne and the Cowlings looking at running the South Island series this coming season McManaway has announced that he will be housing a top north island team in his stables this season so the Cowling thing may have some legs I was told about 5months ago they would be based down here for the season but dismissed it as rubbish

12n was the only s/saloon active pre season. 3nz and 88n have since hit the clay. Not sure when their first home performance will be....trying to gather the numbers to run 14 dec for club champs.

Anthony Hi Anthony, just for your records, you do a great job keeping records of new cars, drivers, and transfer of cars to new owners etc.The class has certainly taken off with many of the top cars being affordable to saloon drivers stepping up. 99M fully rebuilt is for sale. See Speedway adds, or Facebook Trev Gray profile video of the car in action

See Speedway adds, or Facebook Trev Gray profile video of the car in action Hi Trev, thanks for your reply. The spreadsheet I keep was looking too busy so I have created 2. The first one is of cars that are active this season and the second is for cars recently sold, for sale or status otherwise unknown. Both can then be updated as needed. Looking forward to a great season and hopefully I can make the NZ title at Woodford Glen. Anthony

What is the history of Thomas Korff`s ProX chassis...if there is one?
Is 33B ProX a new build for this season or does the chassis have previous history?

79s Richard dreaver trailing a Toyota 2jz turbo. He said chassis is pretty basic nothing fancy no fancy shocks yet just having a play and see how it goes. 800hp no meth just e85. Sounds amazing

99A having delayed start to the season due to motor not ready , most of the parts have arrived from the states. The season looks to be another cracker for the super saloon grade, and cars like 79S in the above thread will be watched with much anticipation . Will this be the power plant of the future. Before series like Pro Dirt etc the super saloons were almost like the Moa extinct, but now they have growth on growth and still a premier class with no signs of sliding into the history books of extinction. Big thumbs up to all who have had and retained faith in the grade and guys like supersaloon fan who keep records of the class. It has been the work off the track over the last decade or so that has taken this class from the ash's to where it is now. Huntly has a good field of the class tonight to wet the appetite for upper north fans.

thank the Flynn family for super saloon racing the way it is today , Agree with that but i think they picked up the baton from Peter Hemi and Muzz Pierce. I think the origins of the pro dirt series go back to Peter and Muzz when super saloons were almost extinct and Grant took over when they retired and the series has grown in strength year on year , including off shoots under different leaderships like the south island series and upper N.I. DVS series.

There is one or two that have rattled the tin ,and moved on to greener pastures ,with one still competes in saloons competitively ..
