13B is Mad Mad Marty going back saloon racing? I recall him starting out in the Wizards 13B Vauxhall Victor many years ago!

Wonder where the 13B is? Imagine the damage he could do to these cars if the latest re-incarnation of 13B was allowed to compete against them

Went to the Mag and Turbo round tonight, pretty interesting night and the cars are so evenly matched across the board
Hayden McKay has taken to it like a duck to water, top qualifier for the feature and led that until going into the wall off a restart
Malcom Ngatai has come on hugely, made one of the moves of the night around the outside of Trevor Elliott to win a heat race, and led the feature for a big chunk before being passed on the final lap to come home 2nd
Butson missed the setup in the first race but came on strong through the rest of the night and looked to have the feature in the bag before spinning up infront of the pack
Hill looks very strong in the longer races, Elliott is always up the pointy end of the field as well and Stewart was coming along well in his new car
Have left the most interesting guy til last, Peter Dickson. Very different looking car in every way and especially the way it operates out on the track with the rear steer and he looked off the pace for 80% of the night. Then all of a sudden at the end of the night he was flying and went around Ngatai in the final lap to take the win. The double file restarts certainly helped him in the final but he was clearly the fastest on the track in the conditions at the end of the night
Not sure what format the NZs are running but if he sets it up like that he will come on strong if it’s a 1 race final

I notice a lot of new...or newish...cars out and about. Does anyone have chassis details for 27S, 79S and 88N please. A few more questions later. Anthony 88N has his first outing in the ex 1NZ Osborne hypermac last night

I am going to hi-jack my own thread from here on in. Everything will still be Super Saloon based...and it is still 2019. As some of you will know...I have a habit of keeping a spreadsheet...or two...of all the current cars that I am aware of. However some of those cars will have long gone and I have gaps as well. The spreadsheet looks something like the following. Any gaps I can fill in or entries I can delete will be good. Number | Current Driver | Chassis | Year of Build | Body Style | Previous Driver | Previous Driver | Previous Driver | Current Status |
I will do a number of these...probably one for each track...and I have a number of photos to add as well. Thanks to the Moderators for tidying up my previous threads...I decided to simply add to this one and keep everything together. Anthony

Out of control most of the time and off the pace. There wasnt alot of cars as the Supers and Saloons were together but starting on opposite sides of the track. Mick wasnt even close to the star he is..... But rapt he got it all together at BP. Hopefully a taste of things to come for him. I know he is always trying something new to find an edge, and this maybe the start of something good!! Still one of my favourite pedallers ever!!

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but was told by a member of Osbourne's crew a while back that the Nelson club champs on Dec 14 was the first meeting target. As a chassis builder it sounds as though work on other cars now comes first these days which is pretty understandable. Need to make money to run these things

I think the second round of the Pro Dirt series is in Welly tomorrow night after the North Islands tonite should be good racing at TeMarua.
