You could suggest Bruce won’t be too worried given they will still race close to home, and if allows the largest speedway event in the aourthern hemisphere to have a good variety of high caliber teams I also wonder if the number of people streaming is the equivalent of attendance now? After Sparks ballsup with their Rugby livestreaming , did we also not suffer the same problems due to the US operations never allowing enough bandwith ? I believe the livestream income will soon be greater than bums on seats. Regional Rugby is an example.

Ok....those welds would be getting a little soft now aye. Car us quite old. Same Nissan engine? Old story same as the 20 year old axe...Different head, different handle but still the same axe The original rails would be still good in it I reckon but so many new repairs over the years at both ends. The car doesnt know its old LOL The original Nissan ended up in Darryl Hammonds 43p Kuriger. When the engine rules went bigger there was a whole new Q45 built and the Q41 was sold off.

Jack Purcell unveiled his brand new 5V Stockcar last night, and brought it down for greensheeting this morning. It's a Gordge chassis, with a Holden V6 built at Roy Eaton Automotive, where Jack works. Roy Eaton of course was one of the founders of Oceanview Speedway back in the early 1970's. And on the wing of Jack's car is a lovely tribute to his late grandfather, the one and only "Big Bad" Charlie Berntsen. Keep your eyes on this young fella this season.

That is one nice looking stockar,Who built this one. They got the chassis from Murray Gordge as a tacked-up coffin. It's been a project for Jack and his father Ty that they've been working on for two and a half years, and the finished product looks fantastic. Wanganui's Stockcar field this season is going to be excellent, with some young fellas like Jack in new cars, and some older blokes back racing after a season off including former 1 and 2NZ Gerry Linklater, Francis Potaka, Trevor Greig, Jason Wright, Mark Johnston (ok; he's not that old, but he had a season off) and Wayne Wright.

That is great news for the stockcar ranks at Wanganui and good to see the elder gentlemen returning as well,Job well done to complete this stockar to such a high standard.

Tony I’ll think you will find they bought the car off one of the knight boys who got it off Murray gorge as a tacked chassis
