The entry form for the Elite Mechanical New Zealand Superstock Championship is now online, and available to be downloaded. You'll find it here, at the event webpage: Entries can be emailed to nzsuperstocks2020@oceanviewspeedway.co.nz or posted to the Wanganui Stockcar and Speedway Club, PO Box 4214, Whanganui. The closing date for entries is Friday 29 November 2019. For those who prefer paper to electronic communication, Wanganui competitors will have entry forms at Palmerston North's opening meeting. We are expecting an outstanding field to enter. The sooner drivers can send back their entry forms the better, as it will assist us with our planning, especially the allocation of pit spaces. Fast Lane Spares Oceanview Family Speedway is one of New Zealand's iconic Stockcar and Superstock tracks, with its location right by the Tasman Sea, and its notoriously tight first corner. The late Charlie Berntsen, Lyall Rumney and Kyle Fraser were crowned New Zealand Champions at Oceanview. Who will join that select group in January 2020?

Today marks the fourth anniversary of "Big Bad" Charlie Berntsen's passing. As well as winning the 1982 NZ Stockcar Championship at Wanganui, Charlie was the Patron of the Wanganui Stockcar and Speedway Club, and a wonderful man who was a friend and mentor to many. Our thoughts are with Charlie's family today, and you can be assured that Charlie's legacy will be remembered and celebrated at the Elite Mechanical NZ Superstock Championship in January.
