Lets face it , anything will be a huge improvement at Baypark compared to what the paying public have been dished up in recent years.

well since Baypark will be the last track to get a calendar out it gives them the opportunity to avoid any clashes with the other tracks in the region.

But true fans know that "active response" and "speedway administration" are words that don't normally go together.

That link appears to have been hacked, unless Bay Park has moved.

Springs run Baypark so that Mother site. Maybe i say good luck and I'm looking forward to the season. Remember when the only time anyone got to see the calendar was the week before opening. And it was in the local newspaper.

And it was in the local newspaper. Nope, but even if that was the case times have changed in the rest of NZ. I remember when the open road speed limit was 80kph tho, doesn't mean that I still travel at 80 cause that's how it used to be.

I don't always agree with @zitadel, but food for thought and one thing I remember him saying that I thought was good was:
"..you can't sell a secret."

Lost my 1st post Second attempt 33 years ago you quote , a lot has happened over 3 decades. Speedway has advanced in promotion and advertising. You have stated your going to Rotorua , I assume you will not use any advancement in engine building , car setup or new chassis design made in the last 3 decades. You car always run in the golden olds veteran classes. Todays supporters/followers need to know what's on offer , before committing to a road trip. In 1986 - 19990 I travelled 20000 to 30000 KS per year for speedway, now lucky do 10,000 to 15,000 . Life sucks and people can not fund all meetings that possible promise. I see you posted on another post , so you what the public informed 5 - 7 days in advance and then expect to crouds to appear. Your more darned up than ME
