Track is in mint condition, weather is windy and overcast, it should run in my opinion, I'm a palmy local born and bred so know how the weather goes around here, it will be all good, cold and windy but otherwise come on in!

Looks like a good mixture of Stratford Rotorua and Huntly visitors also 38 stockcars went out for race one,why does palmy have to be over 6 hours drive away lol.

19p Josh Dorn opened the Palmy Superstock season with a win, which was his first. 36 or 37 cars started so a pretty cool achievement, Josh is Bill Dorn's son. Good luck for 2019/20 Josh. Super impressed by 471k at Palmy's opening meeting, very aggressive and very fast. Benji Sneddon will race for the Kihikihi Kings Superstock Team this summer and he'll definitely be one to watch, or watch out for. The experienced 8p Scotty Miers drove great to win the Superstock Feature at Palmys opening meeting. I took quite a few pics which I will post on Sunday. Jack Miers car will probably be ready next week but unsure if he'll be racing next week, depending on work. But he is all set to return. 6n Sprintcar is raced by Alicia Hill SS Motorsport was in the house. 81v Max Holloway and 53v Shaun Smith After a good start 21w Stephen Taylor had a big wreck late in the evening. Its fair to say that after all the rain between turn 3 and 4 there were a few bumps. Shane Dewar's new Minisprint could be confused by some fans as being a winged Midget, its fast. We like the style of 8p Rob Miller and Red George 93p Karl McGill won the first Minisprint race. Karl also rolled later on, in turn 2. 28s Blair Uhlenberg new colours look pretty mean, his car hauls. 2NZ Jamie Larsen straight into it.

Asher Rees shared the 471k drive with Benji Sneddon, both were wickedly fast. Asher won the 2nd Superstock race. Palmy website report, results and lap times is here: www.pnspeedway.co.nz/asp/news.asp?ID=983
