Stockcar racing is growing rapidly in Qld Australia, top cars are costing a fraction of what they cost here. Peter Hosking: "Not like New Zealand rules, can’t take them into the wall or off the end of the straight. LS2 6.0 Ltr motors allowed Tyres open There are several been built this new season This will be my first year racing in Australia so I’ll learn the hard way should be a lot of fun!" I've seen Steve Batemans Superstock with wheels and (Kiwi) body on and it looks wicked. Would the Peter Hosking you mention be Peter Rabbit of Rabbit Racing a former Saloon Driver

I can't spell speculation so I'll just have a wild guess at it.
Its business, the customers business.
The best combined with the best, and another new Superstock to the ranks. All is good.

Dont tell me Rees going to use ACE Engines . That chassis with the ace engine is a customers not one of Pete’s own cars. The customer also is a big sponsor of slot of cars in palmy including mr rees so I would doubt he would say no to building him a new car with a ace engine in it

OK, let's have some fun with this. If the Rees chassis/Ace powered machine does alright and wins a major title, which supplier will win the marketing battle by getting in first with either
Ace Race Engines, so good that even a crap car can win with one.
Or
Rees Race Cars, so well set up they can win even with a wreckers yard engine.

No wonder you are sitting on the back bench with Simon with your feathers in a cluster , I think Mr Rees would have the edge on this one as he may acknowledge the car engines source ..

Peter Rees success more so due to his driving skills , rather than the car he is driving.

Peter Rees success more so due to his driving skills , rather than the car he is driving. Agreed Just like Ben Smith, Josh Prentice, Ethan Rees, Jason Penn Asher Rees. What do they all have in common with Peter Rees? 1nz Oh, and they also drove a Rees Race Car To that 1 nZ Funny, that’s 5 Rees Race Cars with 1nzs out of the last 6 years. And without doubt exceptional drivers and the most competitive restricted engines in speedway.

The Queensland Stockcar and Superstock scene is gaining momentum. The latest new Superstock is being built by ex-pat Kiwi, "..a 64 year old farmer.." Pete Hosking (Rabbit). Pete live's on the Goldcoast, Gatton and Archerfield are the local tracks "I raced in Stratford 30 years ago - Saloon 62 Rabbit Racing My kids where only little then... So on the 2nd January this year I started building a Superstock so my boys could have a go, and for me to win Aus1 - so the challenge is on my new friend No old car parts in this baby: Sprint car diff, steering box, wheels LS1 motor raptor box Mustang front end Coil overs, Wilwood brakes all the go fast parts.." Best Of Luck Pete - look forward to the updates mate!
