I pretty much never never post the same photo on 2 different boards - but these are in fact also currently on Go Slideways TV board (that has all classes on it), and since I have not been told off for putting too many pictures on this thread yet, and the fact that they will probably become historically significant pictures in the very near future, and since this thread doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, I thought I'd post them here on this dedicated Superstock Forum too, for posterity, so here they are. Sorry wayspeed, but I hope that you enjoy them and maybe they might even generate some discussion. I think I can count 32 additional NZ drivers on the entry list for the 240s that weren’t on the entry list at Whanganui. Huge numbers in the superstock class at the moment. Anyone have an idea of the number of registered cars nationwide this season?

Why do rotorua cars not travel? I know sometimes it's because of work and money etc but everyone supports the 240s in big numbers so be good see the favor returned. Thoughts?

I'd pick most of those extra drivers would be rotorua registered going on previous years. Has Peter Bengston entered?

Don't have the same depth of talent possibly. I always think what makes Palmy so strong is the large number who enter all the big events, I can't think of a single driver that only drives at their home tracks. Wellington would be similar although with lower numbers

However in saying that the depth of palmy isn't what it once was and the palmy attraction of contracting there isn't what it once was

Benji Sneddon kept him from getting Asher For 1 lap then sat the next 13 in the infield then spun Joblin then got a dnf. Honestly man check out the video above in this thread. He spent easily the first 8-10 laps out on track, helping 126 by spinning 971 and 88p out of way. Spent maybe 2-3 laps on infield possibly before returning. 😎
