No we don't agree. Grandstand seating is $80 + child $30 Embankment $60 + $25 GA is $50 + $15 and family is $120 ( the only family discount) Embankment "J" is $80 + $30 So the average adult will be closer to $60 than $80, as most seating are the 2 lower prices. Then add in all the child seats sold, average seat sold would be $50 or lower (adding in families, lots of families come) So we come to needing a average price ($50) per seat. Next the capacity. Stated at 20,000 with extra seating (a given) So both nights are sold out, yes (?) 20,000 @ $50 = $1,000,000 x 2 nights = $2,000,000 So no where near your $3,000,000 and I can bet Rammers grandmother,s second child's son's left testicle, that's on the high side. don't forget the $$$ from the naming rights sponsorship, that would cover the cost of the prize money paid out. Well have a stab at "guessing"? The ticket numbers and cost are pretty out there if you look.

I see on Facebook that the Kings are being named on Tuesday and Carl Hodge is on the list of contenders with 58k next to his name.. it's hard because he would be a great addition, but might be a bit unfair to the guys who run most weekends? I do think Carl is an excellent teams racer and there are not many drivers I would put in the Kings ahead of him. I don't think Stefan the other 58k driver had his name in the mix.

read it again, the answer lies within im going to count them all this year lol Good luck with counting them mordy, I did on my first visit to Whanganui, there were 148 spectators and 5 supers, which is why Bruce needs to make money on this event to cover the bad times

If you are talking about Dare and Hemi then I actually agree this year. Not for the to be held to ransome, but I don't see anyone in the Mustangs that would take his place on form or machinery. Wayne hasn't been going too bad. Not sure if there were any other drivers up for consideration. I take it the Joblins are unavailable otherwise I am sure they would have been in one of the two team in some form. Now all he has to do is make sure he keeps his wheels off the grass when drilling someone. As normal a good strong team. By the way I am not necessarily a Hemi, and definately not a Palmy, fan haha

Seeing how good he was against the V team a few weeks ago, I'd say anyone could do a better job 🤣🤣 If you are talking about Dare and Hemi then I actually agree this year. There is no Loyalty at all among the current Kings drivers set up so no such thing as unfair for this team when you think about it really.

Have read the post from Wayne Hemi about being named for the team, he said he told the selectors they could have just Jordan if they wanted as they'd already taken the title together. Also said this will be his last appearance after 20 years of teams champs for both the panthers & wildcats

Apparently Carl is down to teams race for them next year in the 58 car and thats from the kings , wonder if he is getting a full time drive in that car

So what's the story with Craig Chatfield? Teams racing with the All Stars and now not getting a run at K or maybe it's his own personal choice? And anyone in the know on why Bryce Marx isn't in the All Stars? He's been the rock in that team for more years than I care to remember.

Chatfield didn't run for Auckland last year if I remember correctly? Lonergan drove the bullet for Auckland. Maybe he just wants to be part of a team that he thinks can win (no offence to A)

Go I thought Craig did run for Auckland last year but I could be wrong to. But what's better....going to a team who is more likely to win and being the 6th driver or getting a skid?

Yeah I agree but I guess to him having a skid isn't the most important thing. Had a check and he definitely wasn't in the Auckland team last year.
