You might think that, but look at what happened after Randall Tarrant won tonight. A whole lot of his former Youth Ministock mates escorted him around the track, including Blair Uhlenberg and the Leviens. Whether we enjoy their racing or not, these kids are the future of our sport, and the grin on young Trent James' face tonight when he stood on the podium with Randall Tarrant at the presentations at the Charlie Berntsen Clubrooms was a mile wide. Tonight will have been the highlight of these future champions' careers. |

Tonight will have been the highlight of these future champions' careers. Personally I love watching the Youth Ministocks race. They race with a passion very often missing from the other grades and can sometimes steal the show. I'm blown away that Randy T is 1nz as I can remember race calling his first laps at 12 years old and he is also not just a racer but a genuine fan of the Sport of Speedway. |
