He said he still doesn't feel 100% and will make a decision on the teams closer to the time. But did hint that if he isn't racing his car still might be.

Surely Fairbrother will be in his Tri-Rail. In my opinion he was the form driver last year at Palmy.

I'm pleased to hear that Dale is being conservative about a return to racing. You only get one brain, and in the big scheme of things, missing three significant speedway meetings is a small price to pay for good brain health in later life. The more we learn about concussion and brain injuries and the length of time it takes the brain to recover from what seems only a minor trauma, the better prepared we are to make decisions with long-term implications.

Dale is not in the Wildcats for next weekend, but has just been announced for the Young Guns for the Stockcar NZ Teams at Stratford at the end of the month.

Paul Fairbrother now has the ex Penn/Jude Silver Bullet2. and to be honest with that Wildcats lineup I'm not sure who you would want to leave out had Dale been 100%

Dale has always enjoyed the Stockcar more than the Superstock. He also has two cars that his daughters race to maintain and a business to run. I don't know how he manages to find the time to be honest. Maybe running one less car is just wisdom.
