Would have liked to have seen that hit on 81v Tonight, every time it looks like something is going to happen, the director switches to another camera Barry B Even that Super Saloon feature, into the final few laps with the top 3 nearly side by side, and we switch to the back markers running up the straight

Is Auckland beating Gizzy really an upset? Didn’t they beat them twice in Huntley? And win the whole event?

It just seemed even worse than normal tonight? May just be my eyes, expectations they should lift their service over time to match the lift in their prices, and my grumpy age Barry B

The expectation isn't much barry but the sooner there's a commentator calling what they are showing and a director who can manage cameras in sync with the commentary and even their own pit cameras that the commentator can talk about.this is what we will get.. Our sport if incredibly under rated..and under done as a sport to the public. Oh to have a deal with Sky

The big upset is Scrappers into top 4. Up until teams all the vibes from within the club,,NO Scrappeers this year. Only 1 import, Zac Harris. They achieved this against all odds, no 2NZ in team. Like a Bibical resurrection , rose from the ashes. Even Midway would have to have a Taranaki Ale on this Roxyford, your loyality rewarded. I like many will be tasting humble pie , firstly going to be no team this year, then only coming together at last minute. They may come 4th but hopefully on podium, but they succeeded where some mighty oak trees have fallen

There were so many missed pivotal moments last night. For $130 cost of videohub its just not worth it for me anymore if I can't see what I'm paying for. The coverage has been better in previous years and with the amount of money they have made over the years at $65 a stream its criminal that we still have flickering cameras, mics that don't work correctly and a director that can't follow the important action. For $160 plus accom and gate tickets I could fly up and watch it myself from Christchurch.

Yes, i agree but it is unavoidable. while PN has a good setup for spectators we pay for that by being central and having noise control limits. They CANNOT race past 10.30pm or face losing everything!!!!! I would wonder maybe a fairer situation would be maybe to disolve the results and re run the races....... Don,t think council will allow it to be taken away, to much of a commodity, take this weekend for instance, another nite, more revenue for Palmerston North city.

I would do the same, but sadly, due to old age and decreasing eyesight, I paid for Night 2 first and when it wouldn't work [and once l eventually worked out why] i had to then buy Night 1 to watch Saturday night [and Sunday as it turned out], so l have already paid for tonight, albeit accidentally. Barry B yup, why Video Hub set it up so night 2/finals night was the first option beggared belief. At $65 per night, it must almost be time for a SKYSPORT pay-per-view coverage for this meeting, which would of course be something for the promotion to action. Athletics NZ has had coverage of its main NZ summer competitions on Sky Sport so it can't be that bigger task or cost to get Sky Sport involved surely.

Miers take on last night
Just to briefly touch on last night’s events from our perspective,
On Saturday night we received a 2 page document outlining the main points of teams racing. A new rule that has recently been brought in should have been on the document or at the very least discussed in the Managers meeting (a rule that Jack was never aware of) ultimately cost him in the Panthers race against the Kings.
However Jack has once again accepted his punishment, and while we are absolutely gutted at the outcome have moved on. We will be back! 🐾
Thank you to Bruce, Puk and the rest of their team who have worked tirelessly (especially Saturday night after the rain to get the track sorted), our sponsors, crew, supporters, our fellow Panthers and everyone else who made the weekend happen for us. We appreciate you all!
Last but certainly not least, a massive good luck to Mike whose team is still in the running tonight. Up the Mustangs! 🐎💚

I may be dreaming, but wouldn,t it be ironic if he were to star against his all star team mates of last season. As I said I may be dreaming, as many times the scrappers have finished in the top 4 on the first nite, and failed to make the podium.Nakisfan, don,t encouraged Midway to drink Taranaki ale, as he may write a mumbling slurred speech and we may not hear from him in a while. .

It doesnt make sense that they enforce small little rubs like that but miss full blown park shots in non attacking positions and pole line issues that signicantly change the out come of the races, they have the cameras round the track about 10 or so and all the gear there to rewind and inforce it just like the tmo on rugby… They really do use them too there they literally zoom right in on club meetings to ping people for outside flat tyres on the last corner of races

We don't want that in speedway.

Up the Mustangs! 🐎💚 I wonder what the reasoning behind the rule is & why it attracts a harsher penalty than say attacking from the grass ie reds come on & you're excluded versus disqualification after the race Big problem I can see with it is it can become like diving in football to get a penalty where if the blocker times things right they can move just enough for the blocked driver to contact them
