p.s brian stanaways tank,ex neild?pete stanaway had a holden powered semi tank in the day to,sure it was one of the can mans creations aswell.39r,any one agree?ive been in a stock car coma for 30 years,and the doc john 19s weird lokn steel contraption came to rotiz with steve malaquin,dick broad got it nxt and turned it to standard stock and put red in the cockpit,61r,i spent a few minus 5 nights up at the broad farm in mamaku passing welding rods the stink jobs kids get wen u hang out in the pits,lol.ae red,i carried a few hundred litres of water for ya,i was lucky enuff to see lindsy willis drive the tank and henry rigny.all these pix got the memory functioning again,cheers all u mad stocky fanz,

In that case. there are some Photos of the car when it was new or near new in the Palmy car thread (yellow and black 9p). Originally built/raced by Norm Dempster I beleive. |

Does anyone know which is the oldest Dave Evens built tank that still races today, i have tank#5. just wondered if there were any of the older ones still going strong?

It probably is, Tank #2 still gets an odd outing, #3 is awaiting a rebuild in Taranaki, not sure where #4 is currently. Can you post some photos of your car in the proper thread, Robertson Tanks and Continuation please? |

Update on a couple of new Tanks and a refurbishment. The new 55H out of Huntly, suffering a few teething problems.  The new Rees Superstock Tank, has had a baptism of fire. First time out at the 240s with a Pom, the NZs with Asher Rees, and in the England Team at Palmy. Peter Rees finally got to drive it in the Manawatu champs.   The Kevin Roberts Supertanker looking good all spruced up.  |

Does anyone know if Shane Hurley 42s has been out for a skid in his Peter Rees tank from last year that he bought this year?
And, i know its a big ask, but anyone find a photo? I think it might have raced at wangas and stratford - and I'm guessing the number is 42

I think this was tank 4, the 8p tank website appears to have disappeared that had the history of all the tanks. Registered to Dargaville and racing as 44d Mike Dodds (Caz Tex photo)  |

On one of the other threads somebody was asking about the Pig Farmers tank. Dennis Berry.  Any one no were this car is I brought it from north raced it eastern states for a few years blew the chev motor so put 350 cc chev in it man that made it go sold it to Chch Barry wood house great guy he loved all that Hp love to buy it back Photo from Jrodz69 |

You sold it to Barry Woodhead a chch driver and it had a 308 holden in it with dodgy seals.
