basically,yes,pallmall I had in mind the look I wanted-figured an Anglia would give me the shape I was after-went to Ferabend's wrecking yard in Penrose and sawed the roof off.

that was it! at the time I felt stockcars had to have at least some car body bits. with the advent of the 'C' cabs we lost that. the Ford Y was a good alternative-just think it's been overdone now,though. at least F2's dont need a body.............

gawd-talking to my son Troy about the Anglia bodied stockcar-realised that was 30 years ago! (Vic shuffles off to get his dressing gown and slippers...lol)

That was an awesome looking car Vic, very similar look to an english car of the time way better looking than the rest of the NZ cars of that era

Pretty sure i have just purchashed the 54 anglia chassie but it has a slopper in it. Can anybody confim for me . It was run with the golden oldies as 63g if that helps.

Yes its glass kevin and im waiting for a anglia body off someone bill peat knows. Then got to get it to fit and money lol. i have 1 season to get it done but i hope to have it on by palmy teams in febuary.
