**sigh** The childish comments from losing teams are getting tiresome... You all know that Dads Army will use excessive force in annihilating the Turkeys, i mean Vultures - The Doomed Rotten Scoundrels - Generation Babies - and Chaos couldn't get past Maxwell Smart and Control: How the hell are you gonna get by me?? Time to "man-up" you lot. Bring it tonight...what happens on the track STAYS on the track! Oh, and put a few teaspoons of cement in your Herbal Teas so you can Harden Up!!!! Love you lots you big hairy brutes The Red Baron!!

Trucker, its no good threatening to paint Mikes car pink, he's already been there and done that before, he raced a car 2 or 3 seasons ago that was painted pink. I think a gift of a pink helmet and overalls would complement the pink tutu quite nicely.
On a more serious note the outcome from the weekends racing
1st Dads Army...go the naki boys 2nd Dirty Rottens 3rd RCV....more local lads

What can I say Trucker... I was well and truly dealt to by a Nu Generation driver in a HUGE black Valiant (well , thats what I think it was...) As for the pink Tutu, I had on my lucky pink G-String which did its job: I was in Dads Army and we held off fierce competition to take the winners trophy. Lots of respect to the other teams - Dirty Rottens, Team Kaos, Nu Generation, The Vultures and NCR... thanks for an awesome weekend and we'll see you at the Easter 4cyl Tournament. Red Baron aka Mike Brienesse

I was told, however, to be a little patient as there were quite a few pics.
If you would like to email me your email address i will do my best to forward on whatever I receive. Cheers

On behalf of the team at ferndene speedway i would like to thank everyone involved in making the weekend tournament of destruction a fantastic success. To Bevan a special thanks for giving the opportunity to be involved in your promotion. The drivers of all the teams who competed, as all demonstrated heaps of courage and tremendous driving skills. To the large team of volunteers, who ran the meeting, a great effort. And to all the spectators magic to see so many of you and to hear you cheering for your fav teams. I'm also pleased to say Red Baron Mike was the only driver who needed medical attention, still feeling a little unwell Sunday nite we kept him here in Straty for the nite, he was good Monday morn and took off for home. Thanks again all and wow easter promises to be even bigger and better, don't miss it cheers Mike(poppa) Sherning pres ferndene speedway

Well Mike(Red Baron) You were right it was a big black valiant that hit you. ;)The jappa that you were in was very sick after woulds. However I'm glad your alright NGRT don't like to see anyone in the back of a meat wagon. Congrats though Mike your team drove well on both days of racing.I think the conditions suited your cars better on the Sunday as well. Too Bev and the Rottens never mind mate next time aye,you were so close to winning back/back titles but Dads army were to good. Nu Generation will see all you guys for the 4 cylinder champs in easter.Hopefully we can defend our title for a back to back win? Thanks to all the officials at Ferndene, its a pleasure to race there, relaxed no stress-Racing is No1.Hopefully Meeanee can host a meeting and show the Naki people the hospitality that they have shown us.You guys and Gals are awesome!! Thank you. NGRT

Was one hell of a weekend of racing. Was a shame for us that all our bad luck came together for the final. However whilst my bruised and broken body recuperates and awaits the Friday visit to the dentist to fix a cracked tooth. First time ever to crack a tooth racing my fault forgot the mouth guard but was a big drivers door shot and probably clenched my teeth as I seen it coming a wee way off. All I can focus on is our next race and hopefully a win. Thanks to everyone for making it a weekend to remember.
