yes it was a big hit from hamton in turn 3 but hampton came off 2nd best ...then half a lap later collingwood was in the wall in turn 2 not to sure if it was another hit or what .... yes wicked race 3 for the title but sorry to say apart from the stockcar teams race and the stockcar heats all the other races were flag races a little boring i must say....cant wait for teams meeting .... yes well done 55r or 55gb i was amazed to see the GB boys going after him more then the palmy or rotorua guys very weird..... best part about the hole meeting is that peter rees will be in the final next year and do you think he will let on of the GB boys win.....

For a collarbone fracture? I doubt he will have an op for a broken collarbone!

THanks I can tell you this he will be a guest in rotavais hospital for a few days and would not be surprised if he has to go under the knife at all. For a collarbone fracture? I doubt he will have an op for a broken collarbone! All depends on the type of fracture, if its displaced the bone will need to be set and held together like Rob posted with a pin or plate. Might also be damage to other bones along the shoulder too. So lets let the docs make the decision eh and leave it at that.

The only reason they op on them these days if it is in tiny pieces, sticking out of the skin or causing breathing difficulties. And they are like a weld.. stronger at the break after its healed up. More likely to break it either side of the healed bone . Dr Chainsaw

Has anyone heard about Mr Collingwood and Mr Hampton, since the meeting finished? Are they in hospital? Is the broken collarbone (clavical) the only injury (apart from the sore bodies), cause that was a massive hit?
