Thanks to the Rotorua team for a great weekends entertainemnt. The venue is world class and the meetings including pre night 2 entertainment, pits visits and even those funny fellars in the commentary box made it a good weekend.. I have never ever been to a meeting 3 hours before it started but I enjoyed all the time I spent there.
As you can guess my 1st time there, wife and kids were suitably impressed and are keen for more next year.
Thanks Team. Beadlebomb

It was sensational to be just a small part of it again, and I thank Rotorua for allowing me to do that once more. I know I speak for Paul, Mintie and Mark as well when I say we can't wait for next year. We can only apologise for the one crappy roving mic we had, and I'm sure that will be fixed for next time.
Congrats to Sonja and her hard working team, to FWJ, Pat Westbury and Malcolm Ngatai, and get well soon Roydon Collingwood and Steve Hampton. I'd love to see the heats up from 15 to 20 laps next year however, surely the extra time will allow somebody to find Frankie and deal to him ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Rotorua for a great time back at Paradise Valley. I mark this on the calender every year and it is just an amazing place to be at.
Congrats to Frankie, Pat & Malcolm, well driven all of you. Frankie was amazing and as usual got 2 flat left tyres and still won the champs.
Was awesome to support our hero Peter Bengsten who was in fine form and looking at back to back titles, until being taken by 84uk. Peter stalled and couldnt re-fire. Then one of the coolest things I have ever seen. 8p Miers was leading the final heat, pulls up, smacks the 58p, fires him up again and then the 8p still wins the race. 4th= is a good way to back up last year.
Was also great supporting my other hero Smokin' Joe 5g. Guttered he didnt make the finals or the fact he only just missed out on the next 26. One of the best cars this weekend.
The UK drivers really got stuck in and backed up there team mate Frankie, was really good to see.
Rotorua do everything so well, the only thing I dont like about Paradise Valley, is I can never hear the commentators while racing is on.
But thanks Paradise Valley again for an amazing experience!
Was good to catch up with all the boys and girls. Great to see Graham (SWP) and catch up with that brutal man! Petrolfumes also was a great guy. Guttered I didnt get to see Teams Junkie and Ngahihi and a few others.. Always a frantic rush at big meetings. Sorry to the people, I didnt get to see, it was a mad house. I tried to look for Pallmall all weekend, but he evaded me hehe

No worries KJ, I kept checking for the moment to try and get Rees going under you but there was too much traffic when he did. I spotted Pallmall for you when hovering over the track on Saturday.....

Thanks Graham, we thought you might parachute back down to add to the show. A huge congratulations to Rotorua for putting on a superb event, they appeared to be so well organised in every area, and then all the racing was superb as well on both nights. Special thanks from me to GH and Sonya. I met loads of people, still missed a whole stack though, try and catch you at Palmy on Sunday KJ.

i agree. never seen it before, a show of true sportsman shipand a credit to the driver Was he fined for hitting a stationary car? How long was PB stationary for? Long enough that he should be excluded cause he wasn't "moving in a forwards direction, no matter how slowly"? Anyone think the race rules need a little work? BTW: good on him for doing it, just being the dev's mate for a mo or two.

By Miers hitting PB, it kept the 58p to stay on the lead lap, so 17 secs or so lol
And it was more a push not a hit... As Alyssajono said, true sportsmanship and something proud to witness, from any driver at any club... Obviously Miers starting the 58p back up meant more than his win or points tally

Maybe he had just slid to a halt himself, as he'd done in heat 2 before restarting, and this time 58P just happened to be in his way as he moved off again so had no choice to push him? ;D Or he was just repaying the favour of 58P pushing him around in the Grand Parade and as the field lined up for the Finals?

Ohhh this gets worse, Not only did PB hit and continue to push against an imobilised car, He did it in a grand parade...(under orange lights??) Man wait till OSH hears about this lill gem!!! ;D ;D ;D Sorry enough silliness.

Thanks for all the Positives and of course there are always things to work on. Every year there is something new that presents itself.
We have had handed in a very substantial CD collection that somebody must be missing. Please PM me if it is yours, of course we will need to identify it.

It was a great weekend. My only disappointment was having to walk past the people up top who were drinking alcohol and leaving their empties lying around and standing on an empty bottle and falling over on my way to wait in the huge queue for my coffee. The upside of waiting for so long was you could still see the racing. ;D ;D ;D

the racing was fantastic well done to all the racers but i do have a grizzle i over heard someone saying there car had been tagged they had a gold card which gives you the right to park up the top and had evidentally blocked a caravan in and someone tagged his car for it i also had the same problem i got abused for blocking someone as well thankfully mine wasnt tagged because of it. i do beleive that the parking up the top is shocking and someone needs to do something about it when your paying big money to have a gold card you should have your own park not having to block people in!!! My wife and I had a similar problem. We have a gold card membership which we have gotten the last 3 years. When we went to park up at the top on Saturday next to a caravan, this guy from the caravan came out and said we could not park there. He was saving that spot for another car and then he tried to tell us where to park. I didn't think there was any reserved spots except for track sponsors at the turn 3 end. Friday night we had gotten blocked in but the person whom blocked us in had left their cellphone number on the window screen in case we wanted to leave before them. I thought that was a very thoughtful gesture. More people should do that. Awesome weekend otherwise. Great racing and great promotion all around.
