Don't think my eyes were playing up, but is the 93r stockie now in chch? As it was a quick glance I did not see the driver of the double cab with it on the back, so won't say who I thought who the driver was....can't make more of an idiot of myself...or could I? Unless 93R took a wrong turn on his way back from the NZ's

Gee looks like I'm supposedly famous!
Yes there is a new stockie in Chch, yes it's from Rotovegas, yes it's the 93 machine & thank god it was the car maverick was drooling over not me!
Was a busy weekend shopping in the North Island, new double cab transporter & car to boot, looking forward to hitting the track hopefully with better luck than when I owned the "sissy" oh I mean superstock!
Haha
Good spotting mav now best you get that car of yours ready!
Would just quickly like to say thanks to a few peeps that have helped also, firstly to Steph who doesn't know what she has got herself into, also Peter Clark (57a) the truck rocks mate, Haulage (excited pitcrew) & also Deno for all the advise and persistant nagging for me to get back into a car!
See ya on the dirt
Maddog Moir 57, ummm 27, ummm not sure C!

Also would like to thank the Stewart Family for selling me such a weapon.
A great car at a great price, even with all the parts that were removed!
Nothing like buying a race ready car that is about as far from race ready as can be!
Emailed asking about problems with the car & was told it was my problem, great to deal with you Robbie I hope no one else gets suckered the way I did!

I am so glad that you had a great trip in the truck mate. It was great to meet you and Steph and ya mate. I think it was really stink how you didnt receive any spares with the car when we were loading it up. I saw 3 wheels and a axle. Now come on who goes to a nz champs with 3 wheels and a spare axle. I sold my car to Sam Thompson b4 october and I gave him everything that I had for the car and If i was to buy another car I would like to think that the person selling it would do the right thing and make the deal worthwhile. New Zealand is too small a country to play stupid games and screwing people over especially in the stockcar circle. I hope Matt that you have fun in the car and get everything sorted and that the truck will be as good to you as it was for me. Have fun mate and dont forget that the hits will still hurt even in a std stock hehe. Good luck Pete

Hiya Devilracer, no it doesn't reflect on any other R cars or racers, I've heard of people in Chch doing the same and unfortunately it happens alot in the various racing circles nationwide! A big lesson for the Twisted Racing team, especially me to do more homework before the next big buy! Yea it's going into strip down mode this week, and a check up to make sure we all good to hit the track after palmy teams down here!

well this is getting annoying. how can it be far from racing when all we did was take the transmitter off it. and raw deal? m8 we gave him the spears we had on the truck that we had with us (wheels.shocks.axle.hubs.) the rest of it was laft at home as we didnt no sum1 was guna take it then and there ...as he said it doesnt matter about the rest of the spears that had been left at home.

been in the same boat mate...it sux..lying scum, just wants ya money..
my car was advertised as race ready, turned up with the box out of it,most of the bolts missing,no belts when he said there were belts on the phone, bent axle, brakes not working, put the box in and the clutch doesnt work, strip the box and the bearings are shot...i got absolutely no spares with mine, but i knew that.
but he cost me an extra $450 by not having the box in it like he said he would, and then he wouldnt help pay the extra to the transporter...really pissed me off ae.. but im over it now..except the fact that i really hate zf boxes..

Yes the transmitter was gone, funny when it was on the car on Friday when the deal was done!
What about all the tractor link pins missing from the wheel gate bolts, 1 missing is explainable, all 4 missing coincidental maybe!
When I spoke to you in the pits on Sat Night you said there was a gearbox on the truck, then somehow it disappeared. Seems a long chance to cart 3 stockcars to the NZ champs with the spares you have, yes you wouldn't take a body and bonnet to the NZ's, but no gearbox, front axle, diff, 3 tyres???
I am sorry that you find it annoying, I spoke to your dad on Sat night and managed to score a few shocks, a brake caliper & a stub, then I did email your dad to sort it and got palmed off so what was a guy meant to do??? I'm sure if the shoe was on your foot you too would be a little "annoyed" at the deal.
But hey, there is enough people who winge and moan on here, I don't want to be one of them, so go bank the cheque, enjoy my money & we will enjoy the car once she is ready to go!
