heres one for pete. have my suspicions on this one but will let someone else solve it. no might be a giveaway. and if this one proves to easy then have another one that may have you guessing. ;D ;D Ray Parky senoir for sure in the ex Kenny Hannah Chev powered rocket. Say this would be 1988-89 I reckon. Not long after Ray bought the ex Keegan Gordge 355 Chev 34c and laid waste to us all LOL!!!! ;D

The number 3 car belonged to a fella by the name of Ray Parker. Didnt race it too long.Came from Westport and moved down South from memory. Not sure if it was an old car rebuilt or an old Lovelady car?? Craig,Thanks for the pic of me winning the 6 lap sprint.Actually beat Greg Keegan who had cleaned up all night and the wee upstart 55 broke his winning streak. Was one of those "races of my career" to beat Greg and I dont think I lifted off the throttle at all once I passed Greg!! Great memories!! Thanks again Craig!!!

Thats Parky in the ex Keegan Gordge allright!! As for the Gurney eagle in the background?? Old man Hammond in the ex Bob Smith Kuriger running the old Henry V8.Thats the season that Topcat won the club champs from memory. The red car in the foreground is the Ford V8 powered Lovelady Mod of Shane Smith 48gm.

Or is my memory fading? The 47 car of Joe Annan's was a real flyer back in the day nothing could get anywhere near it.

Another couple, 1st i found was at Waikaraka park early 90's, dunno who the cars were, just some random shot And 2nd is of 16s Neil cowley circa 1985ish, note Graham Old's 53s VW Saloon "Herbie" on the infield, car was a hit with the kids I think they must have got some scissor and bottle jacks to jack up the end of the grandstand, looks a bit bent in that pic (even tho it is 2 stuck together lol)

This is a picture I took of modifieds when they were first introduced into PNth. It was the practice night therefore none of them had raced here at this point. Can't tell you the names of the drivers, but looks like one of them is William Dorm, it would have been very early 80's, not exactly sure on date. Cheers
