Murfz1 Perkins Built Chassis in the early stages. Running a Ford AU2 XR6 Tickford Engine. Toyota Hiace Diff and front stub axles.
Under the lights the long nights continue. The O'Halloran shocks and coil over kits are fitted. The car is running all O'Halloran rod ends and arms
And it starts to look like a real Stockcar...the Dream is becoming a reality. The cars using the AU2 inlet manifold converted to carburater, a Hampton bell housing and a Toyota Land Crusier 3 speed Gearbox.
And the Bonnet mold takes shape.....thanks to Colin Kennedy of Anchor Construction for his input and help putting this mold together.
On the weight bridge and the weight is good ....where do we add some weight??? The seat is custom built by Ace Engineering in Brighthingyer...awesome job Jason.
And the car gets its Bonnet and looks like a Stockcar now.... And thanks to Higgie for the donnor body while ours is being built. Just about ready to turn the key!!
Richmond Panelbeating Technology helped out big time with a day to fully weld the chassis as it is a laminated design.
Logan wondering where to put his rod next....(welding of course)
Ross getting the motor ready for extraction.
Shane, absolutely amazed at the progress,
Big ups to the team of Panelbeating Technology in Richmond you guys Rock!!!
"Hopefully" this is the only time, this car will be on its side... and No its not a new Tui Ad
And its starts to get dressed...fitting the fibreglass. Honda Jass body out of Christchurch that is cut and tucked and then joined be Craig and his boys at Norski Fibreglass in Blenheim.
Norski Fibreglass complete the first bonnet out of the mould....whow just the best.... thanks Craig and Sue
And it gets a Wing just some fine tuning to do..
