Agreed, he doesnt seem to get the same kudos as other stars in the Supers, maybe because lady luck hasnt always fallen his way in the last couple of seasons but when he is on then there is no stopping him.

After watching Shane McIntyre 1NZ last night at Huntly, he has to be in the mix as a very real threat. As always an element of luck, combined with local knowledge helps - BUT I kid you not, this chap is seriously honking. I'm in the process of downloading on to U-tube (35minutes to go) last nights final heat for the supers - 3 minutes of the McIntyre magic.

Im thinking that Brent Emmerson,Ritchie Taylor,Shane McIntyre and Ian Burson are gonna fight out this years Champion of Champions... And never Discount 3NZ Dennis Bolt from a possible top 3 placing, he knows this track better than anyone.

Add one more North Island wild card to the mix in the name of B.P. Now figure who and who's car he will drive.
The winner, anyone of the following; Richie, Burson, Josh, McIntyre, Denis, Verdoner, Emmo, Paddy. But probably one of the first five? The Glen is a tough track to crack and the C cars usually come out on top.

Bunter it is in bro's car? Past New Zealand Super Saloon Champion and current 3NZ Modified driver Richard 'Bunter' Pierce is a confirmed starter in the AmPro Tools Super Saloon Champion of Champions meeting on show weekend. Pierce will be driving the brand new "Terminator" car of his brother Murray Pierce under the familiar 68s number from Stratford.
