did they change the final placings??? cos when i watch them cross the line it was in a different order 11A 3NZ 2NZ 49C [/quote 3NZ Bunter had been lapped by 11A Foxie you may have noticed how some of the drivers were being very cautious because of the conditions, well I think youll find Bunter was one of those back in the main bunch... i hate to say i told u so..... but i told u so just looked on the glens website for the final results and i was correct racefans 11A 3NZ 2NZ, with 49C in 4th from where i was sitting ( turn 3 ) fox didnt lap them

the modified racing was awesome. stand outs for me were, glen leech, jamie fox, bunter peirce and maurice headley. For me the drives put in by David Thompson, especialy the thrid heat, was the stand out. Mike wasn't their.

Don't forget the 1 hour preview of the NZ Champs meeting on B Sport nationwide radio on Thursday morning, 11am til noon, and while the exact line up of drivers hasn't yet been confirmed expect to hear at least the voices of Jamie Fox, Bunter Pierce and Natasha Rodgers, maybe more.
There are a pair of double family passes to be won, and some speedway DVD's as well.

it was a shame that a little too much water was put on the track 3 races before the feature, with the drizzly conditions it was never going to soak in, the track up until then had been perfect, you could race anywhere on the track and the racing had been incident free because of the good surface. but.. too much water was put on, did someone not look up and see it was getting misty as a result the final race was a non event, 84 car pulled out before racing and several others during the race, the high line was still driveable but low one was wet, so it was never going to be a contest rather a follow the leader result, if you look at the lap times they were 1 sec down on previous heats.. they were very lucky to get the race in as the drizzle stopped for a couple of minutes but did resume half way thru the race. after a good nights racing and getting to a climatic finale, someone made a bullsup, effectively ruining what was a good meeting. just my opinion...
how did the drivers see it,

Good on them for leaving decision to the drivers. Wasn't ideal but you just have to make do with what you get and drive to the conditions.
