Ashley is in the ex Mike Whale car My car is Ashleys old car and Eddie Odowd Ashleys father is in the ex Mick Quinn A9x. In the 2nd photo 4b is John Anderson in the Starlet that car went to Donald Gregory and the car on the outside is Ross Collard. That Starlet was a FAST car! I think Don might still have the engine out of it - had some flash Yamaha head on it I think??

Could be failing memory on his part - but Don's always told me his 25h pontiac was a brand new kevin moore chassis super, it did sit in his car port for a few years and before going to Reece as 25h saloon. its a funny car - doesnt like being treated nicely, to get anywhere you had to really give it shyte and simply throw its weight around. its also got an electric window switch inside the door - everytime they took that switch out the car would stop working! no one ever got to the bottom of that mystery, its still in there today! Don also had to keep about 5kg of lead bricks in the front left of the chassis or it would simply pick up that wheel the whole way around the turns, originally had a 383chev when he first got it but the 400 from his commodore was swapped in as an upgrade after the first season. his first car was the 95h commodore - it was extremely heavy since it was built like a brick nutshouse and it very nearly drove itself. great car for beginners but never got serviced or taken care of. Don and his boys ran the two cars together for a time before selling the commodore.

Ive been given a box of old Andre Ruiterman negatives to scan a while ago and there are lots of saloon shots like the one below. Will keep adding to this thread. This shot is from 1976, 13th February to be exact! Look at the variety of cars!
