this is my home track,yea boi.my sister got married in the club house 30 years ago wen the sheep ruled the embankments and there were white 40 gallon drums round the track and they used to chain cars together and have tandem raceing.witnessed a dare devil called gaham venn 77r wen he jumped a yellow xy falcon over a line of cars,bill rigney raced the snoopy vw bodied car 8r.barry hunter was always the man and the stanaways were up there to.me darcy jr russel and a couple others used to push other kids down the bank for fun.the good old days.my fondist memorys r at the vally

So what track got built first rotorua or woodford glenn .
they look identical in shape

I have nearly got this car restored Trying to get finished by the Super Stocks in December otherwise will have at Palmerston North for there Teams race in February I have all its history but if anyone has any other photos of it specially the signage I would sure appreciate it RE: 15r This car was parked up at my dads place when i was a kid and I use to play in hit imagining i was racing Tony Baker, Kevin Free, Adrian Kaye etc. Good to see its been restored. It was painted white in the late 1970s |
