FAILthats all.... seeing as i dont have my snz licence or club membership i didnt take the car for a spin last night, instead i handed it over to jayden for a spin. my aim for the night was just to get it greensheeted.. the 1st session jayden couldnt find 2nd,so he sat it out, its a trick to get it in there.. 2nd session he got 2nd, looked good at the start and then seemed to flatten off then she went downhill from there.. died in a cloud of smoke and burning dreams really. at first glance it only appears to be a head gasket... so with other commitments etc at the moment shes gonna stay in the back of the shed until i get it sorted... im just pleased that i hadnt paid for a licence and membership cos i probably wouldnt get to use it at all this season now... these things happen but they always seem to happen... so on the hunt for another 245 while i start to strip this one down... bonus was she did look good out there, but you know the saying "you cant polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter"... peace

Looks like it turned in pretty good, and with the wing on looks sharp.
Hopefully someone will have another 245 out there.
Great photos zerokillerz - nice effort.

Bit of a bummer start for you mate after all of the time and effort you have put into it . What sort of cowboy welds the bellhousing to the firewall , possibly one who likes making alot of hard work for himself . Id be changing it next off season as to make life alot easier for yourself. There must be a few 245 hemi,s around , will keep my eyes open in the north for you. Hopefully someone reading this thread will be able to point you in the right direction. Youve come this far mate , stick with it and have some fun. Oh , It looks a pretty good sort of car , worth perservering with . I admire a person who puts the hard yards into their racing . You have done a great job , Cheers Highrevz
