Ok, maybe totspete or others can clarify, but as far i know..... ......The old 7n is still the one doing the business that both Craig and Nick have been peddling. It became reasonably obvious early on that the new Gordge wasn't on target for a debut before xmas, if at all this season. One thing we do know....it does exist, pictures of the chassis have been posted in the thread on the main board. The two main hold-ups as far as i am aware are Craigs work commitments and the new Chevy powerplant. Craig won't do anything half-pie, so the car will be ready when its ready to Craigs own standards. The next question I hear now is......Then why doesnt he race the old car at Rotorua. As far as i know just bad timing with work and family time at this time of year. hope this helps. Perhaps he's planning on the Huntly double next season. Besides he might be worried that Rodney Wood would show up at Rotorua. (yes I am kidding)

Maybe we need to all put in to get a car for Rodney to race at Huntly in 2012 then.

i have heard the new engine is finished thou. The motor is done and is with Murray Gordge to piece it together. Once all the bits are lined up, it will come to Nelson to be plumbed, wired and blinged. The aim is to do the last three or four meetings of the season and get it set up for next season. And Nick Fowler says ``Yes, it will be special''.

It must be a hard balancing act. Trying to get the drivers early in the season when cars are nice and fresh but as has also been shown there are cars still in garages, none the less 91 entries is still great numbers, what was the re run numbers at kk last year?

Thats a real bummer for those guys. Im sure they would of loved to be a part of their home clubs biggest meeting and to be apart of helping get the R a 1,2 or 3NZ.
