(i can't see why not they have plenty of cars) There must be guys at these tracks who would want the opportunity to be known as New Zealand Teams Champions and have the hosting rights for there club next year??

Nelson definately won't be there Thats definitely a shame. Would be interesting to know what the reasons are for any teams not wishing/able to enter? Is it: Cost? - (Find that weird when there's 12 months to fundraise, could your local club help with some extra coin?) No one wanting to Teams race? Something against the current track the title is at? Should SNZ be assisting all Teams in some way? Does the current format only allow for a certain number of teams?

i agree with regan but i do have to say that if you want to teams race ang be competitive and succesful and the drivers dodnt have big pockets i think fundraising is the way to go but you cant relie on apperence money or fundraising so at the eng of the day if you want to teams race it will heard pockets but if you have a comiited team that wants to make it easyer finnancialy as a team there a ways to do it yust my 2 cents sorry for spelling ;D ;D ;D

Im not a great Palmy fan **(Rissa runs and hides)** but after the Huntly Teams with the win to the Steelers, I (in my opinion) think they deserve to be there at the Welly Teams. They represented their track with mana and won the event...Yeah I know they are the 2nd team for Palmy but they were there and did the business, and Jeezus they kicked butt.

Have to agree Rissa why not!!! Let them race Thanks Kessa They (Steelers) earned their rights after Huntly..For goodness sake, We (AK) had a bad run and we have beaten the Pumas on a few occasions. The Steelers worked hard as a team, and won at Huntly. Why shouldn't they represent their track at th SNZ TEAMS CHAMPS?

Better to have 12 teams than 10. The 10 team format S#CKS big time

The 10 or 11 team formats have there draw backs as if a team is having a really poor run with cars breaking down they basically gift their opponents extra points. But the 12 team with groups can also have drawbacks with a "pool of death" scenario. Of course Regan would not mind the "pool of death" as last time the Maulers were in such a pool they won it. I guess the format is really a slave to the teams that enter.

With only a week out for this event not a lot of info really coming from the Promoter is there?? Apart from the person ( I wont mention any names) who replied to my questions that I posted on their Facebook Page (Much appreciated by the way), I would have never have known till the other day what teams has entered. Promotions told people that 90% of teams had only confirmed on Tuesday. I don't believe that for a second. I know for a fact that the Alley Cats had entered weeks ago. Phew, thats my rant over. Happy Friday People See me and hear me next week

Just like there 2nd team in the superstocks, the mustangs got 3rd at the teams champs, great result. The Steelers can/could have done another unset if racing and also placed higher than the Pumas. The team works well, the cars and bodys look great also.

The Steelers have been second in the NZ teams, last time Palmerston North hosted the championship. They out performed the Puma's on that occasion. If I remember rightly that was the weekend when Gary Davis showed what a revelation he is as a teams racer.
