Yes the first draw last year had Nelson racing Chch initially then was sensibly altered so that they didnt clash. Nelson withdrew in the end which negated all that, but does show that it was indeed done prior to the meeting.

so can anyone say if the draw has been done, if so when do we get to know it. if not then when will it be done. i appreciate that some teams have left their conformation late, but cannot they just be labelled team "a" "b" eg

I think Ram Jam has said it's been done.
Just not able to disclose at the moment.

Yeah team what's the hold up? The event less than two days. So what's the hold up team?
Someone must know something.

First race for the Palmy team is:
Palmerston North Puma's verses Wanganui Vulcans
Should be a good one with the committed Vulcans team featuring the likes of Alan Levien & Justin Cunningham who were both in good form at Huntly. The experienced Dion Mooney has also been fast at a lot of Palmy meetings and is a well prepared aggressive driver.
The Wanganui Vulcans are definitley not a team to be taken lightly by the highly rated Pumas, and expect that they will be looking make an impact right from lap #1 turn #1
Not sure what # race this clash is.
Lets get it on!!
Good luck to all competitors and their crews.

so some seem to know something. more than the punters it would seem. in this day and age information is paramount in generating interest, yet all i feel is frustrated. and im not even going!!!!

I agree, I think with just one day more of work to go, then it's race day the way in which the event is being under-promoted and up-to-date general information being released is disappointing for other competitors, spectatotors and supporters alike.

I so agree but like many have said we have to stop our WHINGING....I am a die hard and I am going regardless...I have a branch in Wellington and have been raving on about Stockcars for the 8 years I have been with our company...I think I have most of my work mates going this weekend only because I told them Im coming down and its the only chance we will be catching up in person.... Go the Alley Cats ;D ;D

The Young Guns have drawn the Otorohanga Old Age Pensioners Club and the Taihape Gumboot Throwers Union - and who says the draw is rigged?
