Good team ,no ifs, butts, just straight as it comes. has Hewson teams raced much before? Hewson raced in the 2009 teams champs. The year they lead there group on points. But lost to Nelson Tigers in the semis. Hewson also raced at the team nats in Auckland where the Rebels made it to the Finals against Palmy North. So he's got a few races up his sleeve. Good to seem him back in the team again for 2011. The year of the Rotorua Rebels. ;D

Tho i must admit i am suprised to see that 6R Kerry Remnant doesnt appear to be in a team this year, so far. I think it was this season he would break the longest continuous streak for competeing in Palmy teams and saw he had a car at the NZ's. Hopefully he makes it cos the guy is one of the best all-rounders out there and has a knack for turning attacks on him around. Agree with you on that post Jamie :)rest assured though Kerry will be at teams for who ???Well just have to wait and see Cheers

Go back and read his post in the thread about his new car where he states he'll be supporting his 'home' track. I've got no issues with him racing for Stratford at all. None! But, if he ends up playing a key role in upsetting a Nelson team, I wonder how he will be received back at the Top Of The South Speedway when he gets home.

Atleast Boulton doesnt just shop around come teams time and race for whoever. Hes only teams raced for Nelson and Stratford??? Who would of raced for the most number of teams? Theres 7c car whos been in a few dif colours. Remnant has been in a few. Mad Marty a number of teams. Hammond, Supertanker etc....Just a point that many others will just float around teams...to be involved. Boulton is committed to the Scrappers. Penman...... Whats the difference between Boulton and Guildford racing for Scrappers, besides the fact Guilford runs a S on the car, which is his preference as he wants to be part of the team and palmy show. So too does Boulton?

So too does Boulton? I have NO issue with it at all. By all means, if you can't get in a team somewhere, why not go somewhere else.....all I have stated is that I would truly love to be a fly on the pitwall at Nelson if Boulton played a major part in knocking the Tigers over (if they get to race against Stratford of course). he's supported Stratford in the past, so if it's Stratford again, there is some team loyalty there. However, in his thread where he states he will be contracting to Nelson, he does mention he'll be teams racing, but doesn't state for whom, so yes, I'll wear that criticism of my post. Either way, I'll be pretty keen to get a look at the new car, because it's pretty stunning in pics.

Given the fact I've been away a bit recently, this is the first time I have had to log in and check what's been going on and, other than reading all the news on the new 1NZ Superstock champ (FANTASTIC, Dale), this was the next subboard I have checked. One thing that stands out a little is the 'track loyalty' thing that seems to raise it's head a bit every year. Given that Ricky Bolton is apparently racing for Stratford, does this stand out a little as "if you can't join 'em, beat 'em (or at least TRY to beat 'em)"? It wasn't too long ago that a thread about the new Bolton hot-rod suggested one would be improper to not support the track that supported him. I wonder how it would go down if Ricky played a key role in knocking the Tigers out? Not sure how much you know the speedway drivers, but I'm sure you would find there would be no bitterness from the Nelson drivers at all if Bolton races for Stratford and they somehow managed to bet Nelson. In fact they would shake his hand and have a few laughs and beers at the end of the night. Thats what the speedway community is like.

The draw was rigged!!! What do i win? You, my friend, get a very special prize. You get to test the teeth of the Tigers when they are doing their warm-up laps. Right, now stand right there....no, a little further out on the track. Yep, that's it, right there. Now, don't flinch or they won't be able to aim for you properly. It'll only hurt for a little while afterwards. Don't worry.
