Yep; a Scrappers vs Warriors final would be brilliant, and Shag Guilford might have a big target on his back for the Warriors guys ...

for either stratty or wangas to win their semis they will have to put everything on the line. not so sure that they would be able to recover to make a worthy final. this is where nelly and the p have a advantage over the other teams is that they are well skilled in their race craft. you have to do the minimum in the semi to be 100% for the final. wangas and stratty will have to demolish themselves to demolish the opposition.

bevan humphrey never seen that car go so fast before .....future panther mayby Yup he was quick and all he had to do in that final turn was put the foot down and get to the line in there first race but instead hit the picks and settled for 2nd. Even though I hate the Panthers I cant see someone with that sort of mentality getting a run in there anytime soon.

I agree 100% but this is teams champs, anything can happen. We more likely to get what we paid for with a Tigers Panthers Final, Panthers will want payback and the Tigers will want to follow up on last years flogging. Exciting racing ahead, i'm picking.

He was the only man to tip cars over though, can't take that from him. Well done ;D

Are any of the Scrappers team "ring ins"? Also are any of their cars stock cars and not supers? Sort of and sort of (i think). Nelsons Ricky Boulton is racing for them.. but it is the third year hes done so i think, and at auckland too, so hes more a regular than alot of guys in other teams. Ive heard the Chris Flett is a Stockcar, but im sure they will have done bits up to handle it better with the big boys, cos its something like his 4th year racing a Stockcar in the higher grade at this event, so im sure he will have tricks up his sleeve.

watching how easy mooney managed to tip over the 2 2k cars doesnt mean you have to put it all on the line just do it right but that was 2k's, they wont be given the same opportunity against the p. to beat the p they will have to eliminate them. to do that they will have to put everything on the line. p are to good to make simple mistakes. (omg heat stroke!!! ) in saying that i am backing v all the way and do hope they can pull off a triumph. i just think it will take something special to do so.

OR we could say Bevan had a pretty good run for somebody with little teams experiance. He learnt alot no doubt, and his team qualified, which was the main focus. Great effort.

Well said Ugmo; it was the first time that the Warriors had raced for two years, so it was always going to take them time to settle. They won't die wondering tonight, that's for sure!

Agree I've told a couple hopefully an S vs V final.
If so I won't mind if Wanganui win,the final is meant to be shared eh?Sure hope Stratford get through, and they can do it Ogle is quick over the season here, the blockers can cause havoc by using bumpers and spin the opposition out rather than severe hitting at all costs, but then again if first up they have a bit more time to fix.

After last night performance..... I believe the River City Boys can do it!. Palmy are going to be tough alright, thats stating the obvious. But don't think they will have to smash their machinery to do it. They just need a few things to turn their way....even just to hold a couple of the palmy car up for a while , just be patient....things will happen alright, hopefully for the " V ". Come on Stratty boys, I said u will be there with us as well ...so hope you guys can do the same to the Tigers

Pretty sure that Chris Flett owns both a super and a stockcar. But I could be wrong Chris doesnt own a car anymore as he lives in Austrailia, and think you may have him mixed up with me(his older brother) as i have the ex dorn super, and the ex beechy 43v car both in stratford..

Are any of the Scrappers team "ring ins"? Also are any of their cars stock cars and not supers? No Startford does not have ring ins. Ricky and Mat Boulton have teams raced for stratford for the last 3 or 4 years. And yes they do have a stockcar in the team, last years 3NZ stockcar of Mark Coxhead with Chris behind the wheel. It was decided to use this car due to safety and reliabilty, with borrowed wheels.(also it's a car chris knows , and i dont think Mark cares about the car..getting wrecked..... hahaha)
