Quote from Shane/ I would really like to have a 4/5 day NZ Champs over a week like the DHL over 4-5 tracks taking in the southern tracks this year and the northern tracks next year it would be a pay day every other year for each Track and that would be a win for all. More sponsorship NZ Champs every 2nd year more quality racing for the competitors and it doesn't take them away from their tracks or families for long it's a win win for everyone.

I would also support a pre-qualifying process.

I would also support a pre-qualifying process. Good idea but, it can't be "x" amount of cars per track as Supers tend to concentrate at a few tracks. Not really sure how it could be made to work.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I visualize it being the same as now, where x number of cars enter but instead of one meeting at 1 track it will be over 4/5 tracks in 1 week. The nuts & bolts would have to be determined by a committee of say, drivers rep, SNZ rep, and a body of people with the expertise to put this together.

It would not have my vote... not wanting to kick the idea, but it would be an big time and $ expense for each driver to do it over 4 or 5 meetings. this would limit the availability of this title to only those that can afford it. It can not be compared to the dhl as that it a privately organised effort where a new zealand title is exactly that; a new zealand snz title, which in my opinion should be available to as many drivers as possible, which is more likely with a 2-night effort at one track
